COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2008 Bottle at Kolding Ølmesse. A quite clear, golden beer with a white to off-white head. Butterscotch, toffee and a nice citrusy hoppyness in the aroma. Points deducted for too much butterscotch. The flavor has some butterscotch too, but much more subdued. Also some weak caramel flavors, as well as a good piney and citrusy hoppiness. Full body. Quite nice, but the butterscotch level is too high. (080229)

Amber with medium off white head. Aroma has caramel, hops and grapefruit notes. Same goes for the sweet and fruity flavor. Ends bitter.

Bottle. High but unfortunately quickly disappearing head. Hazy orange body. Fruity coriander aroma. Fruity hoppy and spicy flavor. High carbonation and a long hoppy aftertaste.

50 cl bottle. Amber color, nice off-white head. Aroma is hops and sweet malt in fine harmony. Flavor is the same, with hints of yeast and citrus. I really liked this.

500 ml bottle. Hazy orange body with a firm off-white head. Aroma is complex, fruity, spicy, caramel malt and yeast. Flavor is refreshing, caramel malt, grapefruit, spicy, yeast and a fine bitter finish. This is a fine, complex thirst-quencher, which reminds me a lot about Nøgne Ø God Påske 2008.

(on bottle) This is first of all, a very well solid beer. The rebirth of Midtfyn has come as a overwhelming surprise to me and this brew just makes that so much more true. A plesant hoppy aroma, wood, pine and heavy sugars, all most smoked flavour. A light palate, toasty flavours and a lingering, slightly burning and earthy finsih, Not a high rolleer in complexity, but a steadfast session(apart from the price).

Bottle.50cl. This is one of the best Easter-brew i have ever had, intence malty and hoppy in aroma, and it has a American feel, both in arom and in taste.....Good work.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy brown with an orange hue and lacing white head. Aroma is solid hoppy, pine and spiced, and with distinct caramel malt base. Flavour starts sweet and soon goes into a distinct hoppy spice note. Has solid caramel malt body. Goes into a light spice lingering finish of hops.
