COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Malt: Pale, Hvede, Havre, Cara Crystal, Cara Rye, Roasted Barley, Chocolate. Humle: Saaz Øvrige: Kandis, Rosinsirup, Snus, Blæretang Gær: Trappist gær. IBU: 26

Bottle at Borefts BF ’10. Deep dark brown to black colour, beige head. Aroma of drop/liquorice, light salty, chocolate. Flavour is sweet, lots of liquorice/drop, light salty, roasted malts, sweet liquorice finish. Medium bodied. A bit one dimensional imo, but if you like liquorice, this is your beer.

Bottled @ 2nd BBF. The aroma has dried fruits, caramel, spice (clove?), tobacco. Hazy, brown coloured beer with an off-white/beige head. The taste is sweet, with caramel, spice, dried fruits, maple syrup. Nice body.

From bottle @ 2nd BBF. Amis and maple syrup in the aroma and flavor. Tobacco notes. Sweet and sticky. Has quality, but I just couldn’t enjoy it.

Bottle@2ndBorefts. I was afraid that seaweed and snuff would make a beer undrinkable. However, the oposite turned out to be true. Yeah, there are loads of spice-like flavours in it but so well balanced. And the mouth feel is excellently smooth.

Bottled @ BBF ’10. Dark color, medium head. Aroma of licorice, roasted malt. Silky smooth licorice taste. Didnt notice the seaweed. Very well balanced. Good brew.

Bottle at 2nd BBF @ De Molen. So, how weird can we get, seaweed and snuff in a beer? Indeed there is some tobacco in the aroma, but more dominated by the licorice. Sweet flavor with caramel and some spices. Very interesting brew.

Awesome smell, I could keep on sniffing this stuff for long long time. Perhaps the best smelling beer I’ve had this year. The beer looks like stout. Taste is strong, sweet and caramel with a bit of salt and sour. What a great weird beer, but at the end not for consumption too often.

Tap @ FairBar. Murky dark brown with very small off-white head. Flavour is malt, sweet, dark fruit, licorice, roasted malt and spices.

Very dark brwon. Small head, but holds ok. Smell is anice and some mint, very weird. Taste is "couching sirop". Alcohol, spices, sweet anice. Caramel. Unbalanced, and way over spiced I think. Not good, but drinkeable.
