COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Malt: Pale, Hvede, Havre, Cara Crystal, Cara Rye, Roasted Barley, Chocolate. Humle: Saaz Øvrige: Kandis, Rosinsirup, Snus, Blæretang Gær: Trappist gær. IBU: 26

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2010 A dark brown, very compaced foam. Liqorice, you know, the sweet candy one, is the first thing that pops to mind... Also, salmiac, fishermans friend and cardboard. This nose is as crazy as Lady Gaga... (Yupp, pop-culture reference!) When you drink it, it got liqorice, mandarin and some caramell flavours. Its kinda sweet, but got a pleasant bitternes in the end. If your a fisherman.... Well, you know how this goes. If not; TRY THIS! its just so different, it makes you wanna p-p-poke your face... (Follow-up pop-culture joke)

(Bottle 16/2-2011) This is a really special beer with hits of Ga Jol (licorice). The 10cl taste sample was enough and I couldn’t handle an entire bottle myself.

21-AUG-2010, bottle @Erik, brough and served blind by me(!). Dark brown opaque with little off-white head. Pernod-nose(!). Taste a bit more complex with the malts kicking in. Brown sugar - Erik says "cough syrup". Very spicey. Very pleasant mouthfeel and carbonation. Hoppy bitter ending. Very fine effort.

Fruity aroma and taste with hints of licorice. The taste which is smooth also includes nuances of sea water, seaweed, sweets, spices and tobacco. The beer has a clearly special taste and I like it a lot!

Bottle at 2nd BBF @ De Molen. So, how weird can we get, seaweed and snuff in a beer? Indeed there is some tobacco in the aroma, but more dominated by the licorice. Sweet flavor with caramel and some spices. Very interesting brew.
