Bottle. Reddish pitch black colour with a medium, beautiful creamy dark beige head. Aroma has lots of cocoa - a creamy feel - like if you whipped cocoa-milk. Mouthfeel is very smooth, oily, low carbonated, creamy as well. Flavour is great. Coffee, cocoa, caramel, toffee, hops and a slight vinious edge.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown fair mostly deminishing head. Brown colour. Moderate malty aroma. Light hoppy aroma. Nice flavor, moderate bitter. Hints og licorice. Actually a little watery palate regarding ABV.

Black/brown with a huge, light brown, creamy head. The aroma has notes of a not too strong chocolate, light coffee and roasted malt. The flavour is mild, but not without body. I find notes of roasted malt, chocolate, light sweetness, hints of licorice and a light bitterness. It’s surprisingly light considering the ABV, but it’s still quite nice! 1930

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2007 Bottle, 50cl. Nice light-brown foam. Roasty arome, with chocolate notes. Smooth flavor with coffee and licorice. Little disapointing mouthfeel. This beer could do better with a richer body. Overall a nice smooth stout.

(on bottle) Pitch black, nice beige, falling and steady head. But what an uglt label! Slight hvdtølsaroma, overtaken by coffee and roasted plums. Wellfounded liqourice dryness in the mouth, ecxelent.Watery, but still a firm maltyness. Very roasted and alcoholic finis.Atually an oily feel too. Surprice, surprice, is Midtfyn turning on me as the crappiest brewery in DK?

Black with a light brown head. Light roasted malty aroma with a vague chocolate sweetness and notes of fruit. Roasted malty and chocolate sweet flavor. Some coffee bitterness in a dry finish. Way better than other beers from this brewer.
