50cl bottle at Chris O’s Shindig. Looks as a decent stout should, black and tan. Head died rather quickly however. Sweet malty aroma with dark chocolate, wood smoke and hints of the alcohol. Flavour is similar but not quite so pleasing. Slight buttery note that it just about gets away with. Almost great but not quite.

Black of color with a nice brown head. An aroma of coffee, roasted malt and chocolate. A favor of liqurice, chocolate, coffee and notes of sweet dark fruits.

(50 cl bottle purchased in Copenhagen) Black color, brown head. Sweet, raissin and coconut scent, also some smoke. Sweet, Swedish "Julmust" and smoke taste, also coffee and roasted malt. Burnt malt and coffee beans with chocolate aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Bottle: Dark red colur,and a nice creamy brown head. Aroma of licorice ,dust,salt and som ashtry.citric in the end. Flavor is almost the same,but has a surpicely thin body to the alc level, i Will give it medium body, but not more.Coffe,dark choclate medium finish.

Courtesy of Maria! Gentle pour yeilds an oily translucent brown with minimal head that spreads to nil quickly. Pungent nose of caramel and chocolate malts. Medium body is sweet with licorice and above stated chocolate. hops paralell body and follow to a gentle crisp hop finish. Alcohol is not noticed. A nice rainy day basement work beer.

Small dark brown head disappears immediately. Opaque black body. Sweetish earthy licorice aroma. Deep, dense licorice and chocolate taste, sweetish, with notes of wild berries. Very harmonic. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dry, burnt chocolate aftertaste with acidic notes. Some alcohol heat. Very nice! Drinkable and interesting. (0.5l bottle.)

500. Thanks, Maria! Pours deep dark opaque black with a thick, moussy, pudding-like head. Gorgeous sheets of irregular lace down the sides of the glass. Very sweet chocolatey nose. Other than that, pretty mild. Nice medium body with soft carb and moderate flavors--well-balanced attack. Roasty, very slightly licorice-y, chocolatey mid-palate. Very nice stuff. I love getting the chance to try stuff like this from the other side of the planet, because I know if this were widely available locally I’d drink the hell out of it. It’s a very well-made little stout, and I’m thankful I got to try it.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with next to no head only a rim of brown head next to the glass. The aroma is sweet and very roasted combined with notes of soy sauce, alcohol, wood, and dark bitter chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of hard roasted malt, chocolate, wood, leather, and caramel, leading to a dry and very bitter finish with notes of chocolate lingering.. The body is a bit thin inspite of the 7.3% ABV. Work on the head retention and body.

50 cL bottle. Pours pitch black with a small creamy brown head. Aroma of fruit/berries and roasted malt. Lovely soft, roasted, sweet malt flavour with coffee notes. Bitter finish.

Bottled. Black with a rich and sticky beige foam. Black chocolate and currant-leaves in the aroma. Big but a bit flat flavour of roasted coffee, black chocolate and hay. Simplistic and flavourfull. Long finish of tar and black chocolate.
