Bottled, BBE 12/2014. Pours pitch black in color with a creamy tan head. Roasted coffee, milk chocolate and slightly burnt wooden notes in aroma. Dark and nice so far. Roasted coffee and malty notes in taste, also some salty licorice lingers beneath. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Slightly burnt milkchocolate in aftertaste. Easy to drink as well, top notch again from Midtfyn.

15cl sample, from bottle @München Braukunst Live (MBL 09/03/2013). - Pours a gorgeous opaque dark brown, smooth and oily. Rather retained aroma, not overly roasty nor hoppy; deliciously full creamy mouthfeel with some acidic dryness, taste is a bit of everything porter, in good balance: liquorice, mild roasted cocoa, lactic acid. Smooth and pleasing, not unnecessarily experimental, reminded me a bit of a US milk stout.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, and fruit. Sweetish, malty and fruity flavour, with roasty notes and touches of caramel, coffe, and liquorice. Bittersweet aftertaste, slightly disturbed by the relatively high carbonation. Warming alcohol presence. Good.

50 cl. bottle poured in to a Snifter. Dark brown colour bordering black with a dense, creamy lightly tanned head. Roasted aroma with chocolate, coffee, liquorice, dark malts, a spiced note. Some dark, dried fruits. Taste is bitter. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Long lasting, dry roasted finish with bitter, dark chocolate, coffee and a pronounced bitterness. Excellent, rich and rather bitter Stout.
