Pale amber, actually darker than I’d have expected and sedimented rather than uniformly cloudy. The white foam is minimal despite the loud pop and attempt to escape. The malt base is rather timid in this one. Whereas some refreshing and gently oily wheat is noticed in mouth, the nose is mostly that of a fruit ale, raspberry dominating and lime adding but a dash of citric acid. In mouth, honeyed residual sugars are still noticeable and feel like the only contributor to mouthfeel as the pointy bubbles feel rather detached and are quick to fade away despite their initial bite. Fairly juicy palate, fruit forward and not particularly captivating. While its freshness certainly is far from optimal, I did not notice any oxidation nor hop presence of any importance that would have faded away. Just a little on the bland side for a beer that is not insignificant in terms of ABV and recipe on paper.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber/orange with negligible white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt, honey, fruit and spices. Quite complex, but is has an irresistible scent of parfume. Watery mouthfeel. Sweetish taste of honey and maæt, spruced up by some spices. I must admit I am not particularly impressed. Somehpw it reminds me of some middle-of-the-road Polish honey brews.

500ml bottle. Pale clear copper with a billowy white head. Sweet wheat, some raspberry but artificial, some orange. Moderate to high carbonation, mild body, too sweet, unbalanced, becomes dry.
