Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 8/3/2016. Deep amber in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Weetabix malts, some fruity sweetness, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Aroma: bread and grain malts, light caramel, light fruitiness. Appearance: clear amber, medium, frothy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: light malts, bread again, light hops, light bitter finish. Overall: nice Bitter, malty throughout. Pint at Bath Pavilion Beer and Cider Festival, Bath.

Cask. Light amber, slightly cloudy, still, small ring of white head. Aroma is malt, touch of tangerine sweetness. Body is light, smooth. Taste is light malt, soft bitterness. Astringency builds over time. Not much to describe really, but a drinkable bitter.

Leather Bottle, Pleshey. With Zelie. Amber colour. Nice biscuit malt. Creamy. Slightly soapy hops. Short finish. Easy drinking, though lacking in character and bite.

Cask at the Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a clear copper colour with a rocky white head. Malty aroma with notes of floral hops and hay. Flavours of gooseberry, raisins and grain. Grassy hops on the finish, balanced with chewy malt and caramel. Decent bitter.

August 23, 2013 - hand-pull cask at Wenlock Arms. Clear amber, smallish drool of head. Really old school fruity/ malty dry backbone with light floral slightly twiggy bitterness. Light body, watery in fact, still and quick finishing. Meh.

Cask conditioned handpump Three Cocks Kettering 12/02/13. A copper coloured beer with a white bubbly head and lace. Ccocnut, hedge, weetabix and caramel in this. Not a lot of hop flavour certainly not Nelson Sauvin. Fairly interesting and quite tasty but certainly odd.

Cask from The White Horse, Chelmsford. Amber brown, good head, clear. Floral and fruity. Slightly sweet which does balance the bitterness well. A good bitter.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, mild zesty and fruity notes along with some wood and tropical fruits as well. Flavour is fruity, floral, mild grass along with some herbal and malty notes.
