UPDATED: MAY 26, 2012 Cask at CPK. Pours a pale, clear yellow with a creamy, white head. Biscuity nose, hints of tangy hops. Flavor is lightly sweet, quite biscuity, some tangy citrus, slight straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Crispy malt finish, hints of white sugar, biscuits, faint grass, straw, mild earth linger. Decent. (3.6)
Cask at the Holborn Whippet, London. Pours clear gold with a faint white foam. Basic golden ale characteristics here: dry hay, biscuits, light lemony citrus. Light bodied with fine carbonation. A decent low ABV beer. (3.4)

Cask at Oxford Beer Festival 11-10-07 Pours light golden with nice tight white head. Really fresh citrus hop aroma. Tasted Fresh, hoppy zingy and juicy, this beer had a lovely tanginess to it.

Pint handpulled at The Swan Hotel in Maldon. Amber golden body under a film-type head. Hop floral aroma. Mild fruit qualities in taste mixed with light malt sweetness. Rounded and dry bitter ending. Thirst quenching and rather moreish (Maldon, Essex 03.05.2008).

Comments: This CAMRA’s 2007 beer of the year is a citrusy, flowery well balanced and crisp golden ale. Very mineral example, but pleasant and drinkable.

Fruity taste with notes of lemon, grapefruit and grassy hops in the finish. Underlying biscuity malt character. Balanced and very fresh.
