Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
Brewed using only Maris Otter pale malt for a light golden ale with biscuity malt flavour. Mount Hood and First Gold hops give a disctinctive citrus character along with a long dry bitter finish.

Cask handpull at Saracen’s Head Hotel, Great Dunmow, Essex. Pale gold colour with thin white head. Sherberty floral hop aroma. Nice enough in mouth before sherberty distinctive hop kicks in. Very effervescent tingle on tongue lasts forever. Sweetish sherbert, but really good golden beer.

From the cask at both the Queens Head and The Boar Hotel in Maldon. Fruity orange aroma, golden in colour, a tangy very hoppy fresh taste. Beautiful, very drinkable beer, highly recommended. Silver medal, CAMRA 2007 awards.

Cask Conditioned, at the Saint Albans Beer Festival, 2003.
Phenomenal clarity and condition again on this beer. Slightly lighter then the IPA, a pale gold body was capped with a bright white head. Sulphurous aroma, the kind you get at festivals, the kind that you look forward to as they mean good beer. To the initiated this aroma can be challenging but then you quickly learn this is the smell to look for. Crisp clean hops cut through the beer to your palate deliver clean refreshing bitterness. Ummmm, yes I guess I did like this one at the time.
