Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’12. Chestnut with cream head. Stronger mild than normal, quite a sweet, fruity, malty body, blackberry, rose hip perhaps, has a hedgerow feel about it. Easily drinkable, pretty decent really.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, London on 5th May 2012. Ruby with whitish foam. Pungent fruity aroma. Berry fruits, cheesecake and maltiness in-mouth; sweetish malty aftertaste. Light mouthfeel and medium body.

Cask @ CPK. Deep brown color with a tight, small tan head. The nose is rich milk chocolate, sweet toffee. Rich and luxurious nose. The taste is light mocha coffee, blackberry juice. Lactose. Sugared cherries. Brown bread. Smooth and rich mouthfeel. Velvety. Easy drinking. Overall, a great mild.
