Cask at GBBF 2006. A very dark brown beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of berries. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of berries, carrying thru to a dry and slightly roasted end.

[Cask at GBBF] Near black. Sweetish and lightly roasty. Dryish with clean rounded mouthfeel, yet notes of spun sugar. Lightly salty finish with some resin.

Cask gravity @ GBBF 2007, London. Clear dark red brown color with a small, virtually none, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.

Cask@GBBF2007. Very dark rubyish amber colour with mediumsized brown creamy head. Aroma is igtime roasted malts along with some coffee, fruity hops and slight burnt wood. Flavour is really fruity along with some slight hints of roasted malts with strawish hayness.

Very dark color. Nice aroma: roasted malt, toffee. Medium body, delicate roastiness, never aggressive, quite harmonious. Not extremely complex, but fully enjoyable.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Black with ruby edges and a lasting beige head. Bit of butterscotch as well as roasted malt. Too butterscotchy for me.
