| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2003 A fairly pleasant mild. Bready, grainy malts, with some light roast and chocolate. Smooth and simple palate, with a short finish, enjoyable, but nothing outstanding (Cask- ChelmsfordBF 03') imdownthepub (5192), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England

Sweet, moccha and blackberries, little dusty. Very flavorful, very nice balance. How do they do that with only 3.7% ABV and on cask? chriso (4852), London, Greater London, England
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 1, 2004 Rich brown colour. Lots of dark chocolate and burnt malt in the aroma and flavour. Some coffee and berry fruit accents too. Dry, but juicy, finish. An impressive, well balanced, mild. Cask (gravity dispense) at Bedford Beer Festival 2004.
