3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask (handpump) at the Great British Beer Festival, Day 3 on 5 August 2010. Mid gold colour. Decent condition. Agreeable citrus aroma (grapefruit) with some floral touches. A little sweetness on the palate. Hop character in the flavour is similar to the aroma but less prominent. Pleasant, easy drinking but could use more hops to add a little more bite. As it is, the mouthfeel was slightly softer than I’d like. All personal taste of course.
