Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small, fizzy to frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, pale malt, fruity, flowers, light citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, flowery. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110804]

Golden with a small white head. Grainy and fruity aroma with a faint note of turpentine. Sweetish fruity flavour

Cask (handpump) at Great British Beer Festival, day 3, on 4 August 2011. Golden colour with a thin white head. Clean and dry with a fair amount of citrus in evidence. Firm mouthfeel. Didn’t notice any honey. Another solid blonde from Mighty Oak but there’s not really too much to distinguish it from the crowd.

Blond ale, bland ale, what’s in a name? Slight nuttiness. Decent smooth palate, but nothing there to even woo me, let alone wow me.

Cask@GBBF2011. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is toasted, wooden, mildly caramelly, some slight dough as well as mild floral notes. Flavour is caramel, fruits, wood, cereals and some mild maltyness.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Aroma is crisp hoppy, citrusy and grassy. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy. Mixed citrusy and light grassy flavoured. Bitter and dry, yet fruity crisp finish.

Tap @ GBBF. Pours clear pale golden with a small off white head. Aroma is fruity, sweet, honey and hoppy. Flavor is bitter, sweet, thin body, malty. Finishes biter fruity.
