Aroma – Light malt aroma very little to no hops and a definite skunk aroma.

Overall – Not tasty at all. Bleh..
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 DSG (3926) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - FEB 13, 2010
Clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is grainy, with some sugariness and faint grassy hops notes. Sweetish cereal flavor with malt, some corn hints and later a slightly metallic/chemical bitterness. Light-bodied. Nothing good, but at least not very offensive.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 troyc (2014) - Oklahoma, USA - NOV 6, 2009
[Bottle] Pours a clear golden color with a small amount of head. Aroma of sweet corn and cardboard. The taste was a little bit better (thankfully) and consisted of sweet light malts and light, crisp hopping. The body was light and the carbonation level was moderately high. Not a whole lot to this one, but it could have been worse.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Barrios (1241) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 19, 2009
Pours a lasting cap of white head with a clear straw color body. Smells of skunky hops and cheap grain. Flavor is grain and a little hops. Finish is a bit malty but clean.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 BeerHawk (1748) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - JUL 11, 2009
Bottle best by Jul 09. Poured pale with a quick fizzy white head. Skunky aroma of vegetables, grain, and corn. Grain and citrus flavor with a hint of caramel. Light body and a grainy aftertaste.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 JPDIPSO (4956) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 17, 2009
Very light golden color with a moderate white head. Some light grains and noble hops in the aromas. The hops are more grassy than floral. Very smooth feel, but not exactly what I might expect from a lager. Grainy start with a sugary light caramel component. Very little bitterness from a hops perspective. A mild metallic finish and linger.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Butters (3318) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - MAR 13, 2009
Bottle shared with Barrios at woody’s. Pours a crystal clear pale yellow with fair white head. Nose of banana peel, as a gourmet hand soap. Flavor of vanilla, banana, mild and mellow. Watery and refreshing. Similar to the wells banana bread. Very quaffable.
1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 gws57 (1257) - Saint Charles, Illinois, USA - FEB 10, 2009
Found this one bottled ... pretty sure it was at Binny’s in St. Charles, although now I don’t remember. Poured a clear, bubbly, straw yellow pour with a thick, bubbly white head, very little nose of a little canned corn and grass and not much else. Same went for the flavor, which was balanced but uninspired. This was the least flavorful beer I’ve had in quite a while.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Cornfield (5276) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - JAN 28, 2009
This is how things generally go for me. I finally come across a Portugese beer (at the Binny’s in Willowbrook, IL), and it’s not on the database. Thanks go to the folk in the Forums who found a home for it. It pours a lively, pale yellow body with a two-fingered head that rapidly dwindles down to a film and leaves only tidbits of slippery lace. The aroma is light - sweet creamed corn, a suggestion of malt, and a dried grass bitterness. The flavor is light but really sweet - corn syrup and pale malt. The bitterness turns somewhat metallic in the finish. After finding the beer a home, I think I’ll leave it there and not repeat this one.
