3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Mahogany with a creamy tan head. LIght fruit, resin hops with a nice malt backbone, nicely balanced, somewhat muted and light caramel. Slightly bitter, smooth, moderate carbonation and mild body, ends with a nice fruity bitterness and a light dryness on the palate. Quite pleasant.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Traditonal IPA. Beer is easily enjoyed but nothing to remember. Probably the best beer offered by Dugganís. Light to amber in colour. Almost no head. A little hoppy, with bitterness appropriate for an IPA.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap, pours a dark amber with a soft off white head. Aroma is malty, with some light floral and citrus hops. Has a very robust malt flavour on the palate, not very bitter. Okay IPA.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Caplanskyís Deli. Dark amber pour, fleeting off white head. Aroma is toasty and toffee malt, citrus and floral. This doesnít really come together and I canít decide what it is. Pretty heavy malt for an IPA. Hop character gets kind of hidden. Flavours donít seem to mix well.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
LCBO, six-pack of 275ml bottles ($11.35): Pours a copper like color with a big enough head. Aroma is fairly hoppy, but nothing extreme. Definitely more of a mild IPA. Nice malt backbone, but this is also lighter bodied than many IPAs I have had. Fairly easy to drink overall. High enough ABV to be a proper IPA. Well-balanced throughout. Not the best Canadian IPA Iíve had, but still perfectly nice.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Purchased a 6-pack of this at the LCBO, in 275ml bottles. Pours a clean copper colour with an off-white creamy-froth head that has a decent stay and some nice thick lacing. Hoppy nose with hints of caramel malts. Medium-bodied and well-brewed between good wetness and a little dryness. The taste is hoppy as well, but not too bitter, with some grain showing in the aftertaste. An easy-drinking APA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the Strange Brew Tasting on 02/18/2012. Pours a dark amber color with a medium thin off-white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is equally hoppy and malty. Medium body with a fruity hops character with sweet malt behind it. The finish is citrusy with a short mildly hoppy aftertaste. Worth the inevitable lawsuit? Slightly above average overall.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can/bottle (donít quite remember) shared by a friend. Clear amber pour with a thick beige head. Malty aroma with a bit of hop. Malty flavor up front, then slight citrus before a grassy hop finish.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Okay copper body with some modest head. Soft aroma of bad B.O. and some hops thrown in. Flavour is a decent 45-minute hop formula with a bit of malt. Okay balance, okay IPA. Just okay. Eh?

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not bad. Strong hops smell, medium body. Overall an average IPA - decently bitter but not a whole lot of character. Has a nice amber colour and head retentionís not bad. Hoppy but not super bitter.
