Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted malt and earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate toasted bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration. Good brew.

Pours dark brown with medium head that retains. This bottle is sweet. Light aroma. Kind of tangy. Was expecting much better. There is no bottle date so I assume this is a little old. Probably would be better fresh on tap. I have more bottles so I will adjust my rating after having more.

275ml bottle. Pours a clear reddish brown with a creamy off-white head. Faint aromas of dark sugars, biscuit and resinous hops. Slight sweetness, faint cereal notes followed by bitter citrus pith hops, with earthy/woody notes in the finish. I’ve had this beer four times, and it never seems to be the same. This batch is definitely not as good as what I’ve had previously.

Tap at brewery. Nice IPA. Aromas of grass and caramel. Taste has a sweet start, with a bitter bite, and long length. Palate is velvety, with a medium body. Amber, with a frothy head.

275ml bottles, from Cool Brewery in Etobicoke. Very nice stuff! After hearing about this for a long time, I have finally gotten to try it. Pours with a cream colored head that dissipates rather fast. The beer itself is a nice deep amber color. Smells familiar immediately, a nice balance of hops, citrus and flowers (from the hops), and malt and something sweet. Tastes the same: sweet like caramel, some bitterness from the hops, and background malt smoothes it all out. Little carbonation but there are some bubbles floating around. Pretty thin mouthfeel I guess, but overall its a great balance of flavor and drinkability, something I would definitely buy again. Now if only it could make its way to the average LCBO or Beer Store...

Bottle from cfrancis - thanks dude! Straight from the styro shipper to the freezer for 5 minutes to my glass. Excellent colour - clear deep coppery red brew with a big foamy light tan head that doesn’t last long but leave a big of a mess. One of the darker looking IPA’s I’ve seen. The aroma is pretty good - fruity, nectarines, light unsweetened grapefruit harshness, caramel, faint chocolate maybe, very light pine, fresh. Tasty but very overcarbonated. Citruses, most notably nectarine and unsweetened grapefruit, light pine, sweet caramel, some candy of some sort. Very appealing bitterness. Went down well as a night cap. Lasting bitterness of the medium strength variety. Chuggable if not for the heavy carbonation.

275ml Bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with appropriate off white head. Well versed floral and grassy/resinous hop aroma with a touch of malt sweetness. Light-Medium body, residual sweetness only diminishing towards the lingering bitter finish. Bitterness is accentuated by the lighter body. Carbonation medium high. Very satisfying, inoffensive IPA. Light and sessionable, unique volume.

275ml bottle, 6.2% a/v Pour is a rich fiery red copper color, suggesting caramel malts. The aroma is well balanced with a hop note first evident followed by a richness of malt. This beer tastes hoppy off the bat, a very grapefruity hop with a bit of herbal as well. It then quiets down to a malty smooth finish, leaving the mouth coated in its glory, begging for more. A darn good IPA if you ask me.
