(tap) clear amber with medium cream head; faint citrus aroma; watery palate, balanced flavour. Weak IPA character - boring and wimpy.

On tap at the Victory Cafe. This was good, but I liked their 99 double IPA better, as the hops on this one weren’t as bold nor as defined as I’d expected. Nice beer, regardless.

Pours copper with an off white head. Smells of clitrus, earthy. Tastes earthy with some citrussy notes and a bitter finish. Unbalanced.

Pours quite dark amber/brown with a nice white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is typical american pale ale with light hops. Flavour is much richer malty taste but with some citrusy and floral hops coming though. Really well balanced and good complexity from this pale ale. Not a huge fan of the smaller bottles but if it makes it to the LCBO could be my new go to session beer.

On tap at The Magpie - Darker than any IPA I have ever seen, and richer, more full bodied than others as well. Yet the aroma was light hoppy with a hint of chocolate, and the taste was a beautifully balanced bitterness. Left a light tang in the mouth and went down very easily. A truly great ale.
