2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Wimpy little 275ml single bottle from my local llikkbo. Pours a pale yellow with a white froth that goes flaccid faster than an old man coming to the end of a viagra stint. Aroma is dull and lifeless and warrants little comment. Flavour has some nice pale malt character over shadowed by some serious popcorn butter flavour, which seems like a serious flaw but thankfully I don’t mind dyaceytl. Duggan’s seems to me like a modest brewery with much to be modest about. EDIT: holy crap sorachi is a variety of hops!? I’m presuming then, that the beer name is meant to be ironic.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle, pours bright yellow colour, really nothing special, it tastes a little better as you drink more. But not one I would likely have again. Pretty basic beer

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very pale dry lager. Decent cap for a "dry" (rice) lager.... Aroma is spicy from the Sorachi hops and the rice gives a faint fruity-cereal note. Spritzy, dry, clean, nice sharp dry finish. Great little patio beer for quaffing a few on hot days. A Pale dry (rice) beer micro brewed the right way - decent flavor for such a pale dry beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I loved this beer on tap at the brewery. Poured cloduy yellow with spiced notes. These notes gave a bread like quality that ran a long almost creamy maly finish.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
This beer is a big surprise very mild but big and flavorful.Aroma was light with grassy nose and touch of lemon. Poured cloudy off yellow two finger thick head. Mouthfeel was smooth, nicely carbed, and extremely quaffable. Tasted of pepper, lemon, grassy hops and sweet malt. Very sessionable great summer brew.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
on tap at the pub. golden hue, lots of carbonation and slightly cloudy. Aromas are biscuit and some lemon notes but not as expressive as the Pils. Melow palate, buiscuit, decent structure and mid palate. easy and light.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy pale golden pour. The nose is a little bit sulfury with a distinct lemony character on the back. Quite lean with a very clean light pale malt base and a touch of graininess. Quite nicely hopped with a little peppery bite on the finish. Well-lagered (like all of their lagers) and light bodied. Easy to put these back in some pretty serious quantity. Light bitterness but clearly made in the pilsner style. Pretty nice stuff.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A light blonde lager with a thin lacing off white head. Aroma of sake, lemongrass, a bit of lactic points and pepper. In mouth, a smooth lager with grassy hops and pepper, chalky notes, lighter but quaffable. On tap at brewpub, August 6 2010.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On Tap. Solid, but average. A great pub brew that goes very with the food served onsite. Light, grassy and sweet malty. Drinkable but forgettable. I would prefer a more robust and malted version.
