1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 Marheb (1167) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 14, 2012

Wimpy little 275ml single bottle from my local llikkbo. Pours a pale yellow with a white froth that goes flaccid faster than an old man coming to the end of a viagra stint. Aroma is dull and lifeless and warrants little comment. Flavour has some nice pale malt character over shadowed by some serious popcorn butter flavour, which seems like a serious flaw but thankfully I don’t mind dyaceytl. Duggan’s seems to me like a modest brewery with much to be modest about. EDIT: holy crap sorachi is a variety of hops!? I’m presuming then, that the beer name is meant to be ironic.

On tap at Duggans. Very light tasting. Somewhat bland for my liking. Very much prefer a beer with more "bite" to it.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Bendrixian (677) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - JAN 15, 2011
on tap at the pub. golden hue, lots of carbonation and slightly cloudy. Aromas are biscuit and some lemon notes but not as expressive as the Pils. Melow palate, buiscuit, decent structure and mid palate. easy and light.

(tap) clear very pale yellow with tall white head; aroma starts with citrus, then a bit funky; clean, balanced, refreshing taste - more like wheat than lager
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20 JB84 (649) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 22, 2011
This beer is a big surprise very mild but big and flavorful.Aroma was light with grassy nose and touch of lemon. Poured cloudy off yellow two finger thick head. Mouthfeel was smooth, nicely carbed, and extremely quaffable. Tasted of pepper, lemon, grassy hops and sweet malt. Very sessionable great summer brew.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2010 On tap at Magpie - came a very pale, but slightly hazy golden. Thick, small white cap. Aroma fruity, yeasty, and a touch funky. Rice comes through in the flavour, but in a proud way, not hidden, adjunct-style. It is on show here. Gains grassy-bitter hoppiness as it warms. Not a favourite style of mine, but this is a very well-done example, and would be a lovely summer sessioner.

(note - bottle lists this as 4.0%). Pours bubbly pale apple juice with little head. Aroma: light general graininess, a little dry? Hops don’t really provide much aroma, but are there to balance and provide a bit of finishing bitterness.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 JRock72 (605) - - JUL 26, 2011
Bottle. Poured clear yellow with small light head. Not much aroma or flavour. Light spicy aroma with light dry finish.
