6th September 2011 Slight haze on this gold beer. Tidy white head. Light palate, smooth with a crispy trailing edge. Nice creamy malt with a decent level of orange hops. Touch of lemon. A little bitterness in the smooth finish which is also slightly dry. Pretty good Pils - could easily session this.

Good example of a pilsner. Nothing special but good if you want an organic pilsner.

On tap pours golden with white head. Not much aroma. Taste of mashed vegetables including brussel sprouts. Metallic taste with creamy nutty finish.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Wombata (331) - Kobe, JAPAN - APR 12, 2012
On Draft.
Aroma: Good floral hop aroma. Less fruity than the Tuatara pilsner.
Palate: Light-medium body. Great balance
Flavor: Balanced floral hop and malt with a medium level of bittering.
Comments: Was informed that this is a more German-styled pilsner relative to other NZ pilsners.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 omega (490) - NEW ZEALAND - JAN 4, 2012
Sitting here reading the brewers description and trying to reconcile it with what is sitting in my glass. Not to say this is a bad beer, as it is actually quite nice and very drinkable and I couldn’t think of anything to say so looked to the commercial description for inspiration. Golden in colour, quite clean in the finish with a slight bitter after taste.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Maris (753) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - DEC 25, 2011
From 330ml bottle on 26/12/2011. Pours a clear yellow with a small head. Has a modest aroma of malt, fruit and honey. The flavour starts out quite sweet, with more fruit and honey, but this is balanced out by a good dose of hops. A refreshing, high quality pilsner which, imo, has been underrated on here so far.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 Rune (6125) - Tromsø, NORWAY - SEP 12, 2011
330ml bottle bought at the Bieres Sans Frontiers Bar, GBBF’11. Clear golden body, frothy white head with short duration. Smells like fruity hops and pale malts. Mild flavour of fresh oranges, honey and grain. Well bodied. Fresh, clean and smooth in the mouth. Quality pilsner (hotel room, London 04.08.2011).
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Labove (410) - Rome, ITALY - AUG 19, 2011
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Mortlach (720) - Rome, ITALY - AUG 19, 2011
19/08/2011 Brasserie 4:20 (330ml bottle). Dorata, non molto viva, abbastanza limpida, buona schiuma biancastra, poco persistente. Aroma delicato di luppolo, con note di limone. In bocca malto, lieviti, luppolo, limone. Fresca, morbida, dissetante, beverina. Corpo leggero, carbonazione corretta. Una discreta pilsener, perfetta per accompagnare una pizza.
