COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The fifth beer made with our brew buddies, Three Floyds. A big and ballsy, tasty Barley wine following the same path as the previous “Goops” made available. This time with corn taking over the throne.

Bottle, 75cl. An unclear, orange-colored beer with a dense, off-white to light beige head leaving some lacings. It’s very hoppy on the nose, resiny, orangey and piney. It’s full-bodied and slightly warming on the palate, with a very suitable level of carbonation. Resins, pine cones and orange zest in the flavor, on a maltysweet backdrop. A good bitterness too, lasting for a long while. Pleasant indeed, perhaps a tad warming, but sure nice. 150124

Bottle - Big sweet and hoppy. Cloudy gold with a small head. Sweet, light and hoppy with some lightness. Weirdly light for a big Barleywine, but decent.

Magnificent rich aroma. With the first sip goes light sourness. Next corn sweetness and transition in barley and warm shades fortress!

Bottle from Mane Liquor. It’s certainly a solid drop but it doesn’t quite reach the heights of the previous collaborations for me. You can definitely taste the corn in this one which gives it a fair amount of sweetness and the hop build to it doesn’t quite shine like the last few. Very malt forward with loads of toffee biscuit and juicy citrus but it just hasn’t come together as well as I would have hoped. Solid though

Bottle shared by b3shine. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with very good lacing. Moderate to heavy grain malt, alcohol and resin aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy dark sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a complex solid beer.
