UPDATED: APR 17, 2012
2012-04-01, draught at Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen, parallel with Mikkeller 19, 7-5-8-5-16=41
Hazy amber color. Aroma of toffee, malt and hops, light apples. Toffee flavor, with light residual sweetness; smooth mouthfeel; good blend of hops, carrying fruits, resins; good body too.
It’s an accomplished beer, balanced; more vibrant than the Mikkeller 19.
2010-01-16, draught at Ørsted, Copenhagen, 7-4-7-3-13=34
Hazy light amber color. Light hoppy and fruity aroma. Caramel and toffee flavor, quite dry, a bit harsh and metallic; strong bitterness, with some resins, but without noble traits. The final is too much bitter and aggressive. Rough.
