Great big pine intrusively bitter nose. Super easy big dense rockycreamy block of head. Hazy reddish brown colour. Some fizz& acidity to start before all the oenetrating tingly brutal bitterness comes into force. And fantastic delicate and complex lacing.

Bottle, purchased to celebrate my 1000th rating. Thick cloudy amber with some chunks in it. Grassy and citrus aroma with some malty sweetness. Starts off with caramel malty sweetness. Moves into - big surprise - massive bitterness that grows and grows. The bitterness is intense, but its actually pretty enjoyable. Thick body. An experience for sure.

Bottle. Aroma of American hops, citrus, pine, fruits. When it’s get warmer a bit of alcohol too. Taste: very intensive bitter. And some more bitter. Grapefruit, citrus and some malts. No alcohol in taste. Oily texture, medium body. Long bitter finish. Interesting beer.

Can´t get over the rather unpleasant extremely dry and overly bitter finish of this one. Why should i even care to write about the taste and the aroma of this when it´s get trampled by a tsunami of bitterness that just washes all the good stuff about this beer away? Overpriced and overrated.

330 ml. bottle. Pours a thick, cloudy golden orange with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and malt. Taste is grapefruit, pine, caramel, and malt. Kind of overwhelming, but drinkable for sure. Worth taking a chance on.

A murky dark dried mango body sits beneath a light tan frothy smooth head leaving dense, intricate, resilient lace

Intense citric qualities, lemon, grapefruit, blood orange, zesty and juicy, peach and mango, mild nutty caramelly malt hangs on for the ride, hop pie, all on a silky smooth, lightly carbonated medium body building into intense acidic residuals

Purchased at Mikkeller & Friends in Copenhagen, DK; enjoyed in my hotel room on the last night here. Overall, not sure if I can hang with this one. Appearance is a dark murky brown with a thin white head. Aroma is one hell of a hop bomb, mixture of citrus and leafy hops, really powerful. Taste is just a bit too hoppy, two different reviews mention grapefruit and barley wine, and those are the central descriptors...packs the punch of a barley wine and sucks your enamel like grapefruit. I’d say its impressive, but won’t be getting this one again.

On tap at the BeerTemple. Murky brown amber pour with super lacy white head. Aroma is really hoppy, spicy, citrusy C-hops, lots of boozy malty aromas as well. Taste is intense, really hoppy but not super bitter, not unlike a strong American barleywine. Palate is rich and creamy, completely coats the palate with hop resin. Better than I expected.
