On tap, pours a cloudy dirty yellow brown, big fluffy head. Amazing hop nose, like a handful of fresh hops. Attack is surprisingly mild, hoppy, citrus, a bit of malt. Finish is insane hops, like after you’ve chewed fresh hops off the vine.

I thought beers couln’t get too hoppy. Apperantly I was wrong. This beer leaves such a bitter taste in your mouth that it’s uncomfortable.

I love HOPS! Pours deep amber with a finger of tan head. Smells of hops and grass. Tastes of copious amounts of over the top hops, grass, and some malts. Has a long bitter with medium carbonation. Delicious beer, forced my self to drink it slowly and enjoy every drop.

Bottle at the Lakehouse with Taylor, Kimberly, Stefan, Stephanie, and Greg. Pours a weird ugly orange. Hoppy aroma of sweet caramel. Taste like cardboard and nasty hops. Finishes super long and resiny. Coats your whole mouth in a hop film. Mouthfeel is hard to judge b/c my whole mouth is covered in grime, gross.

375ml bottle poured into tulip. Pours a deep, semi-opaque amber-brown with a minimal head. Aroma is caramel malt which is quickly subdued by a heavy, herbal hops profile. This is some SERIOUS hops there. But fear not, it will not annihilate your taste buds, alas, not forever...! Alcohol is not so obvious I’d say, as I didn’t realize it was 9.6% abv until I read the label. Taste is obviously very bitter but yes, there are some sugars to somewhat balance it off. A bit better as it warms up a bit, the sugar gets more perceivable. Body is full, with an oily texture with low carbonation. Mouthfeel is one of the highlights of this brew! Finish is bitter. Are you surprised...?! I’m writing this approximately 30-45mins after finishing this beer and I can still easily perceive a bitter post-taste in my mouth...! Overall: a little gem. Not one you would have every day or even week but if it was more readily available where I live, I would definitely have it once in a while as one of my regulars. My 4h Mikkeller; never been deceived.
