lets go ahead and open this baby ! nice that they have a label underneath the wrap as well, love it ! pours dark amber, slow fading white foam that isnt extreme like in other IPA’s ( in being big i mean) smell is bitter hops, definetly, yet not as overwhelming as i’d expect it to be taste is.. waaw, the best job ever on the carbo ! very very nice hoppy taste, even fruity ! aftertaste is pundingly bitter, hell yeah, that IS great ! definetly one hell of a good IPA !

Countbeer (5959) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - DEC 5, 2012
Draught: Small creamy head on top of a deep hazy amber colored beer. Smell creamy malts, alcohol, hops, creamy barleys, nettle. Taste flowers, hop flowers, hops, citrus, grape, resin, pine and a hint of pine apple. Covered in a nice bitter jacket. The aftertaste is bitter with hops and it hop fruits and the hoppy floral tones that get out. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, full body and a creamy texture.

375ml bottle, cloudy amber hue, with a beige head, sweet toasted, caramelized malt, toffeeish nose with a floral coniferous, cedary, piney, leafy, citrus hoppy accent, with some yeasty fruity esters of lemon, lime rind, and a subtle sponge toffe note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a toasted, caramelized, biscuity malty character upfront, with some flowery piney, leafy, cedary, resinous hop flavours, with an intense hop pellets oily resin backbone, with a minty, citrusy, lime, lemon peel zesty undertone, leading towards a good cedary, resinous, hop pellet bitterness finish.

Bottle. Hazy reddish copper color with a thin head. Medium strong aroma of hops and pine. Taste of hops with some caramel notes. Very bitter finish. Nice one because of its hoppy bitterness. Although not the beer you’d drink more than one (or half a) bottle.

12.7oz bottle in a Trappist glass. Pours amber with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma strong of citrusy and hops and some caramel and a little toasted malts. Flavor of so much hops. Thick texture. A good beer.

thirstyrabbit (1692) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 21, 2012
375ml bottle, wrapped in paper. Opaque orange amber body with a tall steady head. Arom has lots of fir needle type of hops. Oily and sticky mouthfeel. Taste starts sweet but a second later this first impression is crushed by a bitter wave of resiny hoppiness. This one (unlike the Ultramate version) almost has enough backbone to support all of its crazy bitterness. Almost, but still not quite enough. It’s still a hop overkill. If I had another bottle of this I would blend it with some random pale lager to see if I can make normal beer out of them.

Perhaps the best smelling beer I've ever had. Very good balance between malty and citrusy.....just crazy good hop aroma. Of course it has an insane amount of hop flavor...but actually has a pretty rounded maltiness as well. Mostly citrus hops...slightly oaky and musty. Just a wonderful beer.

Svesse (7701) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - NOV 18, 2012
(Bottle) Deep Reddish brown colour, slightly hazy, with brief foamy head. Hoppy fruity nose with notes of resin, grapefruit, pine needles, caramel, dried fruit and dark rye bread. Massive hop aromas. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, dried fruit, toffee, resin, pine needles and grapefruit. Very bitter finish with an impressive hop character. Hops are fairly well balanced by a caramel/chocolate malt character, that makes the beer very drinkable. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Hardly subtle, but very nice.
