Pours a brown- dark orange with a white head. Aroma is grass, herbal and eartthy, pure hoopy. Taste is swetty with a heavy bitterness that reminds at the end, Oily texture with a bitter finish. If you like bitter you shoud try this one, I think it’s not as extreme as it seems but strongly bitter indeed.

Bottle; pours cloudy amber with a tan head; tropical fruit aroma with caramel, pine, and a hint of honey; taste is more bitter than sweet with tropical fruits, pine, caramel, and honey; finish is bitter and dry with some tropical fruit; delicious

Kraftig aroma. Mørk gylden farve, der lægger op til det brag af bitter kraft, som brager igennem og varer ved. Gem den til en særlig lejlighed. En bitter erfaring på den gode måde.

An amber coloured beer with a good, off-white head. The aroma is strong, with notes of citrus and biscuits. The taste is very-very bitter, too much. It is a good experience, but definitely not for every day. Verly long, bittery aftertaste.

UPDATED: APR 27, 2016 Bottle. Murky amber color with small but long lasting tan head. Hopes, hopes and more hopes with citrus, roasted malts, yeast and some alcohol in taste. More hops. Lots of bitterness, full body. I enjoyed this beer like a pig in a mud.

330 ml bottle. Murky dark amber with big sticky head. Caramel and grapefruit in aroma. Caramel malt, hops in taste. Full body with nice carbonation. Hints of alcohol which is very well hidden. Dry and hoppy finish. Nice!

Bottle from Saveur-Biere.com - Color: dark amber beer with no carbonation and medium brown head. Smell: resin attack and pine domination. Very intensive resin with caramel and alcohol finish. Taste: full body with resin blast, pine explosion. Very intensive resin hops, alcohol. Astringent attenuation and high bitterness. This beer is palate burner... Intensive and difficult to drink. Very bad balance it’s just resin and alcohol. Aftertaste: resin, astringent bitterness and alcohol.

Cloudy dark brown body, minimal sized tan head. Alcohol kick at first, than loads of hops, some sugar, pine, peach and tropical fruits. Extremely bitter but well balanced taste, alcohol is noticeable. Medium body, soft carbonation, little bit creamy. Brutally long bitter finish. Great stuff! //bottle at Craft Room

Trawiaste.

Was initially NOT going to rate this, as it was inadvertently aged for 2 years. BUT, deciding that I still enjoyed it and it actually still tastes like a quality brew, doesn’t that deserve cred? Murky dark Amber with a sticky and lasting ivory head. Lovely caramalt and piney grapefruity hop nose, bitter caramel and some earthy lupulin. Big bold flavor with lots of malty caramel/Amber/fruity depth, lots of earthy and grapefruity hops, some Amber malt, a little touch of pine, and a light fruitiness throughout. Honestly, it’s like a hoppy Barleywine. And at 2 years aged, it’s damn fine!
