290313. Bottle at home. Pours hazy copper with a nice high head. Aroma sweet American hops, citrus. A nice mix nad still very nice overall balance. Not Bad.

Interesting, funny but also good. That Simcoe en Citra are the main ones is obvious, tart sweetness. Nice. On tap at the Beertemple.

Pours a rustic, darker orange color with a finger length of an off white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a semi blanket of lacing on the top. Smells of resinous grass, almost cat piss-like, pine, grapefruit, orange, sweet pineapple and mango. Nice hop qualities but seem subdued due to age. A hint of breadiness and carmel show through as well. Taste is hard to describe with so much going on from the different hops. It starts with more of the bitter qualities of the hops like pine, resin, and a slight grapefruit that then leads into a creamy and sweet, bready malt backbone. Then the hops come back stronger with more complex flavors of pine, grass, tropical fruits, orange, grapefruit, resin, carmel, bready notes. High medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Pretty clean, yet bitter finish. Even being an older bottle, the hops still hold some complexity to them. I think they blend pretty well with one another. Decent offering from Mikkeller.

Golden med medium till lite skumm. 19 sorter humle men tyckte inte det var "shit load of hops" . Tyckte aromen var aningen dov och rund.

On tap at Maria’s bridgeport. Poured semi-transparent mahogany - I didn’t get much head. Aroma is monumentally hoppy, equal parts woody and evergreen, will get any IPA fan’s mouth a-waterin’! Flavor is hoppy, hoppy and hoppy - with a hint of, is that rye? Citrus undertone is equal parts Mandarin orange and grapefruit. Texture has firm body and lots of fizz, leaving a very hoppy and tingly finish. Excellent and fresh!

330 ml. bottle poured in to a tulip. Nice amber colour with a big, dense off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus and resin hops, bitter fruits, a good amount of caramel and bread malts. Taste is bitter backed by a hearty amount of malts. Medium body with soft carbonation. Finishes bitter with lots of hops. Well balanced despite the 19 kinds of hops. Good.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2013 330 ml bottle. Aroma is very hoppy, orange is most dominant. Taste is mainly hops, but also some caramel and malty sweetness.

From my notes....’OK, Shitload of hops, American Strong Ale?’. Unknown spice hop aroma, golden body with decent head and a smokey yeast undertone. I just wasn’t sure what this beer was supposed to be. After reading the description on RB.com now I understand, an IPA with a ’shitload’ of hop varieties.

0,33 l bottle, one of my forgotten bottles from my cellar. Hurray, i’ve found it!
Poured hazy amber reddish with a huge pillowy-froathy stable off white-tan head. Aroma of lemon peels and citrusses, overriped mango and tropical fruits, chaotic resin and grape, juniper and pine, some caramel and lemon in the base. Oily, thick mouthfeel with a huge chaos of flavors. Resin and caramel, herbs and malt, bitterness and sweetness in the aftertaste. Fine, really good chaotic one;-)

Took a minute to find because some reason the chalkboard where I ordered called it 19 Hops but this is definitely it. A really nice, American west coast styled IPA. Nice bitterness and sweetness balance that was easy drinking.
