37.5 cL bottle. Pours pitch black, oily and with a dense, creamy and dark chocolate brown head - slowly collapsing into bigger bubbles. Aroma is dark malty, rather fruity and sweet. Flavour has a nice mix of dark malt, quite sweet and a more subtle winous to fruity note. Lingering smooth finish. Overall rather sweet, but somehow nicely integrated with the malt and fruity notes.

Bottle at home. Pitch black coloured with a huge beige ehad. Roasted and sweet artoma of liquorice and roasted bread. Roasted and very sweet flavour of tar, liquorice, oak and alcohol with notes of hops, cognac and dish washer. Hoppy and alcoholic finish. Complex, but too sweet.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a pitch black with a dense light brown head with good retention and quite some lacework. Heavy sweet roast, lots of booze and vanilla with distinct Cognac. Very solid body, thick and syrupy roast and dark dried fruits - again lots of Cognac. Heavy roast in the finish but still lots of booze. The Cognac barrel really adds to this. 230311

Dunkler, extrem würziger Malzantrunk, tiefgründig. Rauchig, Cognacnoten, passend süßlich. Die Malzigkeit bleibt auf hohem Niveau, das Bier ist intensiv und einfach stimmig. Kakao, unglaublich cremig, komplex. Wow! 14/15/13/15/10/15
