from tap in Carpe Kraft Toruń, very strong aroma of coffee and chocolate liqueur, oily texture, sweet but well balanced with bitterness, long roasty and bitter aftertaste, alcohol not very perceptible for it’s amount in this beer

Pitch black with beautiful head. Aroma is a lot of soy sauce and alcohol at first, but it gets better. There’s vanilla, really dark chocolate and pralines and roastiness. In the taste there is more walnut, plum and cherry. Alcohol is pretty intensive, but rather noble. Full body, texture is thick, but not as much as I expected.

One of the best RIS in the word. Very chocolate and oily, it’s look like diesel oil.

Gęste, jak olej. Pozostaje na szkle. Mega wyraziste i pełne. Kiedy je piłem wyrywało z butów. Świetne piwo.

Keg at Ushers. Pours black with dark brown head. Nose is roast, bitterness, booze, coffee. Taste is very boozy, smooth, roasty, coffee and chocolate, strong boozy finish. Even for big beer IS lover this is way too boozy.

375ml bottle. Black colour. Manages plenty of brown head. Nose of burnt bread, liquorice, coffee and earth. Quite a bitter, savoury, umami feel to the taste, and some sticky molasses. Doesn’t drink near its ABV. Maybe a bit rougher than I’d like though.

W smaku palona kawa, czekolada, palone slody. Kupilem dwie butelki i druga idzie do piwnicy.

Aroma: coffee, chocolate, wine alcohol, roast malts Appearance: black as hell, short, beige head Taste: roast malts with hints of vanilla, dried fruits Palate, thick, oily, full bodied potion! suprisingly long bitter finish, medium carbonation Very tasty, but also very heavy.

On tap at hopaholic. Black colour (badum-tss), with a small brown head that disappears instantly. Nose is roasted malts with some coffee. Taste starts with some coffee that comes a huge hit of bitterness, with a lingering aftertaste. I like bitter beers but this a little bit too much.
