375 bottle split between 10 folks and we didnít even finish it on the first round. Someone did take the remainder straight the dome as the night worn on. Thick black pour with a actual head. Nose is lots of thick molasses, char, booze, soy sauce, bourbon. Flavor actually comes off a bit less hrash than I expected. I am glad we shared with so many folks as I think this is a beer not to be enjoyed in large quatities. However, I really did like my sampling. Taste shows more thick molasses, leather, soy sauce, big bourbon, a bit of char, sticky.

Bottle @ Arminís apartment, courtesy of the ole rotbox. Pours a deep black appearance with a thin, light brown head. Really rich, spicy whiskey, fairly boozy, somewhat herbal smoky, very roasty aroma. Very very rich, goopy dark chocolate, toffee, boozy whiskey flavor with some dark fruity notes and a pretty boozy finish. Fucken thick and hot. Kind of enjoyable flavor but boy, this motherfucker is high boost.

Pour out of 375 mL bottle, thick black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of dark cocoa, big bourbon, whiskey notes, hints of spice, slight brownie notes, slight cake, slight earthy notes. Taste is a mix of dark chocolate, big booze, lots of oaky, whiskey, bourbon, nice brownie, cake notes, some spice, finishing bourbon, slight roast, lots of sweet dark fruits. Tasty but hot.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2014 37,5cl bottle at the after-tasting in the train on the way back home. i canít understand why this beer getís such ílowí ratings!. poured dark black with a big chocolate look head. dark chocolate. caramel malts, vanilla, dark fruits like cherries. a lot of that oak taste. with a big bourbon hit!. somehow this version is a lot smoother en less boozy as the regular black version. this was such an incredible mouth feeling! the smoothness of the bourbon barrel has done it again! to bad itís such an expensive beer but itís worth every penny!! now I just need to try the new black fist version!!

Pours a deep burnt umber with two fingers of khaki foam that sticks nicely. The nose is sweet werthers original candy, vanilla, boozy fig and traces of hmmm bourbon. The palate is quite the ride... sweet front end matching the nose but falls quickly into a charred dark chocolate and dark fruit mid to late palate the the booze heat creeps in on the long finish where some sweet notes creep back in. Nice lingering bourbon burn... definitely a great beer. Thanks from GODFROMANAL for hooking this up !

Bottle. Black colour with a tan head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is roasted malts with mild hints of yeast and caramel, coffee, black chocolate and wood. In the mouth is dense with a light bitterness. Easy drinkable with sweet hints, barrels and roasted malts in a high presence. The final has a decent bitterness with a good duration, highly present coffee and black chocolate notes with a hidden alcoholic traces.

Shared a 12.7 ounce bottle with a friend for his 1000th beer. Starchy on the nose. Big booze. Caramel and dark chocolate (which is a good food pairing). Sentiment on the bottom. 2011ish bottle if I recall correctly.

Bottle. Couple years old, side by side with the standard Black. Pours a deep black with beautiful, fluffy, lasting mocha head and protruding blanket lace. Nose of espresso, roasted malt, vanilla, oak, bourbon, chocolate, burnt toast, hops and alcohol. Full body, very hot like the black. The bourbon smooths out the burn a little. Boozy but it doesnít taste 19%.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2013 Huge, heavy, brutal. Its like listening to death metal while being beaten up. Smells alcohol, leather, bourbon. Smooth mouthfeel, but stings on the tounge because of alcohol. Huge leather, alcohol, quadruppel espresso aftertaste. Overall: Brutal, like a nice death metal growl.
