Huge, dark greige head, very slowly lowering over brownish-black beer. Sweetish & very roasted nose, coffeesweets, chocolate, cacaopowder. Warming up, some dry hoparomas waft up. Again very roasted, touches of mint - After Eight? ; roasted, meaty, chocolate flavours vie for domination. Very thick, viscously bodied, quite carbonated too, obviously. Aftertaste has some hot feel, as from chili peppers. Good, decent Imperial Stout.

Black of color with a very small brown head. An aroma of liqurice, tar, bitter, soya and roasted. A flavor of liqurice, sugar, sweets, oily and weak bitterness.

Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Dense brown head. ARoma is sweet, roasted, full of chocolate, liqourice, brown sugar and some vague smoke. Flaovur is roasted, full of molasses and brown sugar. Has a ligth touch of smoke, and has liqourice and are somewhat burning. Medium to full bodied. Ends on a roasted and sweet note, with a light bite on the lips. Quite nice, but almost overly sweet.

Bottle. Pours a pitch black color with a very small tan head. Aroma is filled with roasted malt, burnt notes, dark fruits, touch of alcohol, liqourice, dark chocolate, brown sugar and ash. Flavor is again quite roasted with burn and ashy notes, along with dark fruits, burnt caramel, brown sugar, liqourice, dark chocolate, brownsugar and no trace of alcohol. The body is full with a creamy and sugary sticky mouthfeel. Overall a pretty nice Imperial Stout, but not the best Imperial Stout from Mikkeller.

From a bottle at home in Skövde. Black, ni head. Vinous malty aroma, tar and chocolate. Tar flavor, chocolate, sweet licorice, figs, raisins and a bit smoky. Not a finished that applied to me...:-S

Pours extreme black with a good sized brown head. Aroma is coffee, burnt sugar, vanilla, wood, hops. Mouthfeel is creamy and slight oily. Taste is coffee, molasses, licorice, dates and a hint of dark chocolate. Reminiscent of a strong, syrupy sweet coffee.
