Bottle 330ml.

Clear dark black brown colour with virtually none head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, caramel - molasses, chocolate, light alcohol. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, salty, soy sauce. Body is medium to full, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. Bottled. A pitch black beer with no head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, roasted malt, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and chocolate, leading to a dry, roasted and bitter finish.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity and dark roasted malty. Quite hoppy, Smooth fruity. Thick malty and light tarish. Light peaty. Dense fruity. Imperial double black IPA. Dense malty and solid hoppy/grapefruity finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Theis. Pours a muddy opaque black with a tiny, beige head. First some citrusy hops in the nose, then a whiff of peaty smoke. Full-bodied, hard roasted malts, salt, ashes and a little smoke. Alcoholic sweet finish with a very downplayed bitterness. 020911

Bottle at Alex. Black coloured with a small beige head. Roasted aroma of caramel, coffee, hops and pine needles. Sweet and roasted flavour of coffee, dried fruits, hops and pine needles with nottes of peat. Roasted and hoppy finish.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a sweetish malty chocoalte aroma. Sweetish roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor with weak hints of licorice. Has a roasted malty sweetish chocolate and coffee finish.

Bottle @ Autumn Tasting, Ulfborg 2011. Pours black with a off beige bubbly head. Nose is coffee roast and soy. Sticky and oily palate. Low carbonation. Smooth. Heavy bitter coffee roasted flavor. Quite salty.

Black color, with a creamy but not persistent head. The aroma of roasted malts is also mildly cheesy, very nice. It would have a better mouthfeel with less carbonation; the body is not too thick; excellent flavor of chocolate and dark malts, spicy, peppery, with a good share of sugars, and also high alcohol content, everything powerful but balancing each other. Very good.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. No head. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, chocolate, syrop, vanilla and hops. Oily palate and dry finish.

Bottle at Alex’s Place, Malmø. Pitch black - offwhite head. Coffee, smokey, tartness, peated, citric, fruity, burned, salty, sweetness, light dusty/oldness, licorice, minerals. Very nice.
