Amber, clear with thin off white head. Malt aroma, some citrus and something else, something funky a bit unappealing. Very earthy and green, dry and grassy. Based on other ratings, maybe this was a bad bottle. I guess I’ll have to give it another go.

Pours orange. Nose was mild citrus and floral hops, biscuity, yeast and caramel malts. Flavor was mild hop flavor and bitterness, bread, yeast and caramel. Easy drinker.

Served cold from bottle. Copper pour, off-white head, good lacing. Aroma of citrus, pine, and some very distant malt notes. Flavor includes roasted malts with solid hop bitterness. Great take on an American ale.

Pours a hazy dark chestnut brown color with dark golden amber hues when held to a light source and a two finger frothy, pillowy white head with great retention, only slowly settling into a lasting cap that coats the glass with chunks of soapy white lacing. Not very pale. Earthy floral hop nose with a good bit of caramel/biscuit malt. Slightly grassy and smells pretty hoppy for a pale ale. Medium bodied with a lot of crisp floral hops up front that are nicely balanced by a sweet caramel malt backbone. Slight hints of citrus peel and grapefruit and a nice dry pine character. Finish is bitter and dry. The malt backbone is prominent but overall this beer is well balanced and very complex for the style.

500ml bottle from IPB. Pours clear amber with a big light tan head. Head leaves some lacing but not much. Nose is piny/earthy hops, sweet caramel and some malt. Taste is hoppy, piny and citrusy. Some malt in the background and some sweetness. Some fruits also. Finish is bitter and piny sweet. All in all this is quite hoppy and bitter but rather drinkable and well made. Not much complexity but just well done.

Creamy citrusy aroma with subtle malts... Flavor is initially nondescript, not much going on, almost to the point of being subtly malty water followed by a long dry lingering bitter finish... Seems to be missing something in the mouthfeel.... Almost reminds me of an English Bitter moreso than an american pale...

very light amber color...slightly hazy. thick light tan head and nice lacing. aroma is flowery, citrusy, and sweet with a light malt backing. flavor is roasty and caramel malt at first with agressive hop bitterness. finish is lingering, dry, and bitter.

Pours dark orange with a fully receding off-white head. Notes of citrus, pine, earthy English hops with coarse resins. Medium to full bodied with lively carbonation.
