Jan 18, 2009 Bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy orange amber color with a frothy medium sized head. The aroma is fruity (pineapple, citrus) and moderately sweet malt, with some earthiness. The flavors were more on the earthy, grassy side, with light fruits and malt. Medium bodied with an especially dry bitter finish. Interesting how the nose and flavor were different.

Jan 16, 2009 Bottle on 11/30/2008 at the 3rd Annual Richmond Industry Gathering. Cloudy amberb body with a small off-white head. Big citrus hop aroma with a caramel background. Sweet caramel and citrus hops flavor. Medium body with mdoerate carbonation.

Jan 11, 2009 Poured a cloudy deep orange with a foamy white head. Not what I was expecting from a pale ale. Aroma was fantastic! Really strong fresh hoppiness with a sweet malty balance. Flavor was also in this line. Palate was also pretty nice. Bitterness in the front of the tongue and the roof of the mouth, but finishes smooth. Much better than any other pale ale I’ve tasted.

Jan 5, 2009 Catch up rate. Bottle at the St. Albans beer fesrival.. Dark amber with an off white head. Aromas are sweet pine with spices. Grapefruit with peppery notes and evident alcohol. Quite soft. Flavours are woody and dry with spices. Bitter pine and grapefruit with a very dry finish.
