Pours a slightly hazy orange amber color with a frothy medium sized head. The aroma is fruity (pineapple, citrus) and moderately sweet malt, with some earthiness. The flavors were more on the earthy, grassy side, with light fruits and malt. Medium bodied with an especially dry bitter finish. Interesting how the nose and flavor were different. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 11, 2009 Poured a cloudy deep orange with a foamy white head. Not what I was expecting from a pale ale. Aroma was fantastic! Really strong fresh hoppiness with a sweet malty balance. Flavor was also in this line. Palate was also pretty nice. Bitterness in the front of the tongue and the roof of the mouth, but finishes smooth. Much better than any other pale ale I’ve tasted. Jonte (816), Gothenburg, Sweden
