Commercial Description:
All Others Pale - as in ’All Others Pale By Comparison’ - is our cheeky take on an American tradition, but naturally with a Danish touch. It is a well-balanced, light-bodied thirst quencher, perfect after a hard day’s work or on hot summer days...but loads of fresh green hops and a subtle malty background make this pale ale the refreshing choice all year round!
Ingredients : Water, malt (maris ottar pale, munich, carapils and caramunich), flaked oats, hops (simcoe, centennial, amarillo and nugget) and ale yeast.

Bottle. A clean dark golden brown color with a big foamy off-white head. A wonderfully hoppy bouquet with citrus and mild sweetness. Earthy and dry on the palate with well balanced malts, honey, and citrus flavors. Really nice! It is a step above a great West Coast APA, but at $12/bottle it would be hard to return to this one.

Date: 08/02/08, 50 cl. bottle courtesy of CelticBrew, and shared with him, Doboy, and Steve E.

Aroma - Honey, light fruit, citrus, pine, spice

Appearance - Creamy off white head over a hazy orange pour, stringy and sticky lace

Flavor - Grapefruit comes through quickly over the light maltiness and fruit flavors, leading to a long, bitter finish.

Palate - Medium body, light carbonation, mildly resinous, quite dry

Overall - I thought this was bit unbalanced, with the hops being too assertive relative to the malts. Still, it’s a good APA.

Amber and clear. Has a fine head, mostly lasting. Odd aroma, chalk. Hoppy notes too. Medium to full body, soft carbonation.

50 cl bottle from Bieropholie, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. JN 30/08.

App.: Clear medium-copper with a large light tan foam. Aroma: A nice shot of C-hops and sweet, gooey caramel, light cherries and berries, some dark dried fruits. Palate: Medium+ body, soft carbonation. Flav.: Lots of big chewy, gooey malts, also lots of C-hops, nicely balanced, some fruitiness; off-dry with good bitterness, light resinous hops and a touch of fruity malts.

Very true to style, all the way from Scandinavia!

A fine afternoon had by Steve, CelticBrew myself and DrBayern and his traveling Flea Circus! I liked this one! It starts with a nice hoppy aroma. Pours with a stickyyet lacy head. It had a hazy light copper hue. They great hoppy flavor was incredibly well balanced.

Yep, another good one shared by Steve at his place, we’re all still here and enjoying it. Another treat for me as I have been wanting this beer for a good while. Poured from bomber a hazy dark, medium amber. Formed nice white foamy head. Aroma of pine resins, hops. The flavour was hoppy with a nice pine bitterness that ended dry. A wonderful example from our friends in Denmark of an American Pale Ale.

The Dan Journal #205. Tasted 7/20/08. 22oz bomber. Amber golden hue. Brainy white head. Aromas of honey and raspberries. Citrus and bright hops. Medium bodied and bitter. Sticky with a slight burnt note. The bitter hop palate dominates. Nice melding of styles.

Bottle 50cl. Clear amber/orange body with a handsome light brown head. Really nice hoppy nose. Fresh body with loads of hops and a little well hid sweetness. Nice bitter and long aftertaste.
