Stefano (1323), Esbjerg, Denmark Feb 21, 2009 Pours a deep copper with a slight haze. Fruity and flowery aroma with a citric and piney touch. The flavour is hoppy, with some malt lying underneath, and a good fruitiness. Very nice.
jgb9348 (2492), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Feb 17, 2009 Crisp hazy amber coloured body with orange highlights and a nice dense tan head - this is an APA, and where is it from? Aroma of fresh piney and grapefruity hops with a dose of alcohol and a smidgen of spice. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive hops up front dominate the taste with a mild malty taste and a taste of alcohol tucked in with some pale dryness and hay. Overall, a damn good APA, bordering on an IPA - this one is a definite winner. Reminds me a bit of the good old Tupper’s Hop Pocket Ale, minus a bit of the hops - but this beer is definitely worth sampling if you can find it! I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased at Knightly Spirits in Orlando, Florida on 15-February-2009, sampled a day later at home in Washington! badgerben (3587), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Feb 16, 2009 Dark copper/reddish color with a towering head. Strong orange hop aroma. A large amount of fresh hop/vinous character. Caramel malt as well. The flavor is pretty similar: mostly citrus, tangerine in particular. A little piney hop. Caramel and toasted malt. Quite acidic. Lovely! kkearn (995), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 15, 2009 16.9oz bottle. Pours orange amber, slightly hazy, with a big white head. Nice aroma, with grapefruit, caramel, peach, and grass. Flavor of earthy hops upfront, with some caramel, grapefruit, pepper, charcoal, herbs and grass providing balance. Long, fairly bitter finish. Medium bodied. Solid pale ale. Mogwai (217), Askeby, Denmark Feb 11, 2009 Bottle. Pours an amber/orange colour with lasting off-white head. Both aroma and flavor is hops, citrus, fruits, caramel, earth. Good beer. tomthompson89 (1460), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 10, 2009 amber color, with white foam, nose is grassy with grapefruit and citrus hops. flavor is a little sweet maltyness with lotsa citrus hops nice beer finol (475), Nacka (Stockholm), Sweden Feb 10, 2009 Bottle from Ölbutikken, Copenhagen.
Dark orange/copper.
Crisp citrus flavour
Intense carbonation. JensenTaster (1585), Denmark Feb 9, 2009 (on bottle, bought as "Mikkeller Vibskov Eminius") Light brown and clear, no real head. This beer was a flat and boring experience to me, maybe the fact of light through the clear bottle has taken it´s toe on the content. Small aroma of malt and a carbonationfree mouthfeel. Not really any hops, not in a slightly malty finish. Looking forward to get it fresh some time.
