Crips, dry, spicy flavor. Great balance and peppery hops. Dry and refined, with lightish malts. Very clean and refreshing. Complex hops— bitter with a long, austere, finish.

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 17, 2009 Crisp hazy amber coloured body with orange highlights and a nice dense tan head - this is an APA, and where is it from? Aroma of fresh piney and grapefruity hops with a dose of alcohol and a smidgen of spice. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive hops up front dominate the taste with a mild malty taste and a taste of alcohol tucked in with some pale dryness and hay. Overall, a damn good APA, bordering on an IPA - this one is a definite winner. Reminds me a bit of the good old Tupper’s Hop Pocket Ale, minus a bit of the hops - but this beer is definitely worth sampling if you can find it! I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased at Knightly Spirits in Orlando, Florida on 15-February-2009, sampled a day later at home in Washington! badgerben (3592), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

A large amount of fresh hop/vinous character. Caramel malt as well. The flavor is pretty similar: mostly citrus, tangerine in particular. A little piney hop. Caramel and toasted malt. Quite acidic. Lovely! kkearn (999), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
