3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle @ Kolding Ølmesse.
Pours a lightly hazy orange with a great frothy white head. Aroma is soft, lightly buttery and lots of fruity American hops. Mouthfeel is initially a little thin, but gets wonderfully dry towards the finish. Not many flavours apart from hops, though. Pine and fruity hops dominate in what I’d call "Hop Juice 2007 Light". It’s a good brew, though extremely bitter. I for one is happy that I only sampled it - I couldn’t drink a whole bottle.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy orange with a fluffy off-white head. Delicious hop aroma, most notably peach, apricot and pine. Background of pineapple, and green leaves. The flavour is very bitter, bitter enough to make all others pale, including most IPAs. The bitterness is accompanied by a lovely fresh hop flavour, and just enough caramel sweetness to balance. Only a touch of chalky dry mouthfeel keeps the scores from going through the roof. Well done!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught. Pours a pale amber-orange colour with a short but well lasting white head. Very ripe fruity hoppy aroma with mango and pine. Good mouthfeel. Very nice fresh fruity dry flavour with mango, peach, pine and a very good bitter hoppiness. Long lasting bitter and dry fruity hoppy finish. Great brew!

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The palate and the bitter ending gives away that this ought to be a great beer, put personally i don’t like the pine flavor, which ruins it all. (for me) If the pine was not as dominant, i’d rate it somewhat higher. I feel like someone put a pine tree in my glass of beer. Too much pine ;-)

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Deep orange color, slightly hazy with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma is wonderfully hopped with loads of citrus, mostly oranges and grapefruit and some nice caramel. The flavour: YEEESSSSS!!! - light and wonderfully hoppy with a nice, slightly dry bitterness, loads of citrus (again mostly oranges and grapefruit), hints of resin and papaya and some nice caramel. The finish has a nice bitterness with hints of grapefruit. It’s incredibly refreshing and nice - a small piece of art - yummmiii!! My #2900 on RateBeer

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours a copper amber with a decent bubbly beige head. Smells of roast caramel with underlying floral hop. So it’s on style so far. Near full in body with almost creamy carbonation. Flavor is bitter citric hop with the roast malt. The finish is smoothly bitter. It’s very, very good stuff.
