330ml bottle pours a deep amber color with a finger of off-white head that settles and leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is herbal and caramel with some spicy notes. Taste is a spicy and herbal hop bitterness with a caramel malty sweetness. Medium body with nice carbonation. A nicely done amber ale that is worth checking out.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar Stockholm. Reddish with a small head. Quite light with fruit, malt, caramel and light spices. Drinkable but not that interesting.

Bottle shared with MaartenRF10 @ his place. Deep dark red color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Don’t get a lot of aroma. Taste malts, a hint of caramel, nicely bitter. Decent body and carbonation.

Shared with Benzai, thanks! Helder donkerrood, fikse crèmekleurige kraag. Geur en smaak van caramel, licht gebrande mout en rood fruit.

33 cl. bottle split with Kogymo. Procured from De Hopduvel. Murky red brown, light small tanned head. Sweetish, sugary herbal nose. Light caramel nuts, light herbal bitterness, light bitter roots, touch metallic. Med, touch too light body. Okay but pretty disappointing coming from Mikkeller.

Clear medium to light dark red amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light nutty, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, malty, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140424]

Biscuity, Irish, plus bready malts. Herbal minimal hop backup. Quite drinkable, more than I expected. Active yet pleasant carbonation. Medium bitter, never too sweet. Never too special, but it yst drinks well. It’s quite fruity in the aftertaste. If I may suggest (and given the amount of variations Mikkeller makes, you never know) I’d like to taste this one with a low fermentation yeast. Good malty brew. Tat bit expensive for what it is. (33cl bottle from De Hopduvel)

Flaske: Ravfarvet let diset øl med et fint skumhoved. Duften er karamelmalt og en smule humle. Smagen er behagelig med en del bitterhed men igen går lagergæren igennem og tager over. Ok øl.
