Sample from a 1.5L bottle. Hazy amber color, persistent fine white head. Skunky. Soapy nose. Spicy aroma, caramel malts, hops, lavender. Mild bitterness, dry finish, light hoppy.

Cloudy orange. Moderate head. Well lacing. Mighty aroma of spice, leather, brett, fruit. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Dry taste with much yeastiness. Spicy. Leather again. Fruit: apple & pear. Notable grassy biterness in the mid phase & ending. Hoppy & fruity aftertaste. This is not love at the first sight, but it is good & complex.

Bottle. Pours amber, clear with a solid white head. In aroma malt, peach, barnyard, leather, brett notes. In taste dry, herbal bitter with brett notes. Very similar to Orval, not that wild and much more carbonated. But nice and fulfilled try.

Bottle 33 cl. Pale amber color with very good white head. Aroma: a bit "wild", hay and pharmacies, friuts, grassy and floral hop. Taste: dry, chalk, malt, yeast, pear, light acidity, floral hop bitterness, very good.

Pours initially a slightly hazy medium amber body, but as I pour the following glasses they get more and more cloudy. The head is huge and off-white and very long-lived. Strong aroma of tart fruits, barnyard and funk. The strong flavour follows the aroma. Quite sour taste with hints of sweetness. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel, light body, dry and lively carbonated. Nice!

Opaque light brown color with solid foam head. The smell is a tiny bit soapy and mild. The taste is harsh tart and a little bitter. Really not enjoyable. Dry and bitter tart aftertaste. This beer isn’t good.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy orange-read, light beige head. Boy, this is a complex and interesting beer! The aroma is a little funky with that spicy sourish note. Dried candied peaches and apricots, candied walnuts and sea buckthorn. Some leather and winy notes too. The taste is dry with a subdued maltiness, dry and peppery sea buckthorn bitterness. Great, and better than the real thing!
