Huge off-white head, diminishing, with good retention. Hazy light amber colour with orange hues. Aroma is sour, fruity and caramel. Taste is strongly sour, cheessy, toasted malt and long sour aftertaste. Quite high carbonation. Too much sourness for me.

L: -pours a hazy copper with a foamy, beige, quickly dissipating head -low carbonation visible S: -juicy fruit bubble gum, tart vinegar, curry, candy, noble hops T: -tart vinegar, quite hoppy, sweet cherries, faint citrus -finishes dry F: -medium-high carbonation -really watery for some reason O: Quite a unique taste and flavour, but the body on it is so light,it bogs the beer down heavily

bottle at home, poured a slight cloudy dark amber to light brown colour with a tanned head. nose of citrus, sweet burned caramel, malts, sour bitter grapefruit, coriander, sour cherries, spiced yeast notes aswell. more spiced brett notes in the ending. don’t like it very much. like a orval clone but worse

Bontus (693) - Flanders, BELGIUM - MAY 26, 2015
Bottle, Delhaize, 33cl. Pours orange copper, bit murky. Sweet hop nose, slight brett aroma. Yeasty. Not as tangy / fresh as Orval. Similar pale ale aroma. Bitter sour balanced. Decent good.

Vili (145) - FINLAND - MAY 23, 2015
33cl bottle. Hazy brown pour with thick, quickly fading head. Little lacing. Aromas of fresh bread, spices and cellar. Taste is bitter, balanced, fresh and a bit sweet. Medium carbonation, nice, fresh palate. Aftertaste is short and tasty with bitter hoppy finish. Interesting and fresh beer.

Swaroga (1755) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAY 22, 2015
Fresh peppery aroma with notes of pear and caramel. Strong carbonation and big head. There is no mistake, it’s a proper Belgian ale. There are also some notes Muskat grapes and apricot. Taste is dry and a bit acid with Orval like herbal and grapefruit peel bitterness. Good stuff.

Bottle from VP Storo enjoyed at home
Deep red, creamy light tanned head. Smell of fruity yeast esters, plums, hints of funk, dark malts, quite vinous. Light to moderate sweet, earth and soil, funky hints, fruity flavors,

Koelschtrinker (12645) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 20, 2015
Trocken hefiger, leicht kaffeeartiger Antrunk. Steigende Bitterkeit, die aufgrund der Trockenheit weniger stark wirkt als sie eigentlich ist. Der Kaffee bleibt, die starke Bitterkeit gefällt. Erhöhte Karbonisierung. 12/12/9/11/10/11
