SAY "OH WHAT" IN DANISH. NOT ORVAL – BUT ĹRH HVAD. Color is Cloudy amber and has a white head. The taste is peppery, malty with a hoppy finish.

Bottle, Brew Dog.com. Poured a hazy amber colour with a generous off-white head. Nose was citrus, hop and brett. Flavour showed yeast, fruits, a little funk and dried out towards the finish. Not in Orval’s league but a very handy stab.

Bottle in an orval glass - oh sweet irony - Color is amber - remindung to orval , plus less fine and stable foam . Smell is brett , Bit to high carbo ( but very close to perfect ) Brett , somewhat bitter . A good beer on its one , and very close to orval ! The very subtile diffrences are that this one has less intensevfoam , more carbo , bit less hop , and a tiny bit watery . To bad it forces to be compared , cause its a good beer on its own .

Darker amber clear body with no head at all. Aroma is caramel, sour, light prunes, pear, overall acidic and fruity. Taste is light sweet, mostly sour, woody with earthy harsh bitter after taste. Body is full, high carbonation. Great Orval clone.

On draught at White Horse Parsons Green. Hazy deep amber colour lasting white head. Nutty odd aroma. Some sourness. Interesting. Walnut sour. Big hoppy finish. Weird

Dark amber with a lasting white head. Funky aroma with grapefruit and leather - not quite bright and lively though. Sweetish funky flavour, again a little dead. Pasteurized brett?

Fantastic beer, indeed a more creamy and fruity version of the Orval. With that nice tardy note of the brett.. Loved it.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear deep amber colour, off-white head. Aroma is a bit fishy, Brettanomyces, light funky, tart green apples, hint of caramel. Smell is a bit off unfortunately, perhaps my glass isn’t completely clean. Gets better when the beer warms up. Flavour is light tart, funky, Brettanomyces, barn, light malty, caramel, nuts, apples, light floral, firm bitter finish. Light-bodied, a bit fizzy. Dangerously close but no Orval. It lacks the creamy rich mouthfeel of Orval, feels a tad more watery. Great attempt though.
