3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Beer Temple. Pours hazy orange with a vist white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma comes quite close to orval with brett, fruity, hops. Taste does not really match the expectations you get from the aroma. Bit sweet, much more fruity, tropical fruits, medium bitter finish. Medium body and a medium to heavy carbo. Nice beer, but the taste does not come close to orval.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Small bottle. Looks like this is intended to be an Orval clone? Appearance - check. Aroma has some brett and dry hops but not enough funk. Instead it has some hints of ripe pineapple that should not be there. But the aroma might almost fool you if you’re not a big Orval fan. Body has a bit oilier mouthfeel and there are more sweet malts in the taste. Real Orval has very low levels of residual sugar. Hoppiness is fruity and even a bit lactic - not as dry as Orval. Comes quite close but you can still detect differences.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled at THE FESTIVAL 2013 with Andrew, Jay and Kramer. Maybe it was just the sheer amount of incredible beer at the sessions that day, but this seemed like a lager with light yeasty belgian notes. Some spice, and light bittering hop - almost crisp. Definitely willing to try this again.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Pudel Baar, 20130703) The beer poured deep amber and quite clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spiciness, hops and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was fruity and bitter. Something here was wrong, I got impressions of medicine.
