SAY "OH WHAT" IN DANISH. NOT ORVAL – BUT ÅRH HVAD. Color is Cloudy amber and has a white head. The taste is peppery, malty with a hoppy finish.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Clear, amber colour. Thick, lasting, off white head. A decent take on Orval...but then it would be. Very nice.

glennmastrange (2343) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Bottle. Moderate to heavy grain and cereal for the malt, moderate herbs for the hops, musty basement for the yeast, with notes of date, honey and pepper. Head is large, frothy, off-white with spotty lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is hazy medium orange/red. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and heavily bitter. Palate is medium, dry, with a fizzy carbonation and a very dry finish. The dried fruit and honey aroma convinced me that this Belgian Ale would be sweet, but the flavor and feel is dry and crisp.

Bottle at home, from Kihoskh, 04/05/14. Clear golden amber with a big old frothy off white head. Nose is bitter tropicana, yeast tinged, apricot jam, light spice, hops present, bubblegum. Taste comprises bitter orange, candied fruit peels, light spice, peachy tinge. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, hop presence at the curtain call. Decent Belgian with a hoppy resonance.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Orange colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma with some brett notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter fniish. Lacks fruity notes, but brett is ok present. Oily palate but too fizzy. Not a beer for me again.

olsvammel (3637) - Örebro, SWEDEN - MAY 1, 2014
Bottle at Örebro Ölcafé. Funky and fruity smell with horse blankett. Similar taste. Very nice, I prefer the mouthfeel and level of carbonation (lower) then the original.

Saeglopur (489) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - APR 29, 2014
Bottle from AmmersinO, Vienna. Moderate hazy, deep amber body, with a big, stable, frothy, white head, that leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma of lemongrass, apple, citrus, some red fruits, candy, some biscuit. Taste with about the same aromas, good balance between sweet, fruity-sour and bitter. Mouthfeel is medium, oily to creamy, with a lively carbonation and it finishes bitter, sour and sweet, with grass, candy and sour fruit notes. Nice one! Really quaffable, refreshing, well balanced and with distinct, but not too dominant sour fruit notes.

Draft at northdown. Reddish very dark pour with white head. Cherry flavor stands out. Very fruity and has hints of wood, nuts and even pine. Not bad

Fľaša. Toto pivo ma dosť nemilo prekvapilo. Vôňa kvasinková a kyselkavá, typická pre belgické pivá. V chuti najskôr sladkosť, ovocie a neskôr opäť kyselkavosť, ...

From 0,33l bottle. Pours amber - peach - honey color liquid, small white head. Aroma: light candied fruits, sweats. Taste: light sweet, medium bitter, heavy sour, taste of wine, old sweaty people (Bretanomices bacteria). Palate: medium body, lively carbonation. Overall: very interesting piece but not very drinkable.

Tap at beertemple. Pours clear amber with a beige head. Aroma of fresh and wild Brett notes. Sweet pears, fresh hops, ripe apples, honey note on this one as well, some sweeter malts and notes of plums as well. Taste is so fresh and drinkable. Man!! I could session this on dangerous levels. Nice wild Brett notes, citrusy hops, apples, pears and some sweeter malts! Please come to my fridge this summer!
