SAY "OH WHAT" IN DANISH. NOT ORVAL – BUT ÅRH HVAD. Color is Cloudy amber and has a white head. The taste is peppery, malty with a hoppy finish.

Bottle@nkbar. Nice deep alluring amber clear. Hoppy greens, some funky hay on nose. Old malts, hay, plant matter. Dry, but somewhat soft, well carb’d. A lot of funky flavours, and interesting. Probably the best coloured beer I’ve had, flavour-wise nice too, but not super amazing.

Aroma: yeasty dough, bread malts, some caramel. Appearance: medium dark brown, hazy, small white frothy head, quickly disappearing. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: sweets quickly vanishing turning to light bitters, medium to lively carbonation. Overall: another Belgian Ale - slightly sweeter than average and hence I like it somewhat more, thought not my favourite style. Bottle from Kris Wines, London.

Fresh and sour. Great aroma and a long dry Aftertaste. Not that orval as it may want to be

Wonderful sweet-sour with a long fresh, but deep aftertaste. Slightly alcoholic and a bit klæg in the back of the mouth. Best served cold. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught @ Beer Temple. Clear reddish color, medium sized thick off-white head. aeoma is moderately sourish and pretty fruity. Taste malts, yeast, sourish, sourish fruits. So far it’s nice, but there’s a weird sub-flavor that annoys me, can’t describe it though. Maybe the yeast. Not bad at all though.

On tap at BeerTemple. Clear amber pour, frothy white head. Aroma is funky, very hoppy, malty, light caramel and earthy brett notes. Taste is bitter, grassy with a nice tart, earthy brett finish. Palate is full bodied yet dry with good carbonation. Good thing they specify this isn’t Orval, because I’ve never had anything that came this close.

Well, this was quite nice. Much closer to Orval that the It’s Alive series (which I also like). Pours reddish copper with a large tan head. Tha roma has earthy brett, stone fruits, cellar must, mild toast, crackers, bugs/wild aleness and and overall dryness. It has a medium crisp body with lots of sharp frothy carbonation. The flavor starts with dry toasty malt, bugginess, earthy brett, dry fruitiness and light sweet/tarts. The finish has farmhouse must, earthiness, fall leaves and a small hint of alcohol. solid as can be. I better get another one or two of these.

hazy dark orange colour, 1 inch creamy yellowish head; aroma of yeast, wine cellar, some caramel and fruits; taste of yeast and hoppy bitterness; very dry mouthfeel (slightly similar to a dry white wine); correct belgian-style ale
