SAY "OH WHAT" IN DANISH. NOT ORVAL – BUT ÅRH HVAD. Color is Cloudy amber and has a white head. The taste is peppery, malty with a hoppy finish.

Typical "chuck in a brett cube" horseblanket hints in aroma. Buttery. Rather a boring ale. Reminds me of the Architecture - they’re dangerously similar. Blah

Very aromatic beer, like a fine champagne. Hoppy, earthy, herbal flavour. A really interesting try.

Hazy dark amber in colour with a lasting frothy dark white head. On the nose aromas of spices, herbs, ginger, some bready malt and earth notes arise with a pinch of clove. Light lively allowing for light lively slick texture offering a light sweet, bit acidic taste with medium body. The herb, spice flavour develops further and is well balanced. The finish is long and somewhat dry reminiscent of a hop note. Good interoretation of an Orval.

Ehh what? Looks amazing with a light amber body and a huge long lasting head. Aroma is promising, full of berries, something saison-like dryness and freshness, yeats, sweet malt, cherries. Taste goes the same way, a bit dry and fizzy with berries, cherry, malts, yeast. Body medium, co2 a bit on the high side. Finishes with high bitterness. I'd have another for sure! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle in Kings Arms, Bethnal Green. Pitched in the bar menu as Mikkeller’s Orval comparison. Clear tawny, light brown, little reddish, with an off white head. Nose is fruity, light sherberty, bit of damson and fig, fig skins, some subtle grain, and fragrant fruity yeast. On the finish it’s fruity, sweet and slightly dry.

On tap at Roundhouse. Definitely peppery like a saison. Nice twist with the hops. Very pleasant overall. Worked amazingly well in HK heat. I would order it again.

330ml bottle, pours hazy golden brown, aroma is caramel malt, pepper, spice, lemon zestiness, finish is very bitter. A good Orval clone.

A big Belgium whiff up the nose - dried pineapples & sour cherries. The Belgium taste more subtle, adding light tones to this predominantly pale ale. A hint of strawberries with the nutty malt followed by a lightly hopped grapefruit finish. A truly excellent, experimental style. Rated by BrewTom

On tap at Bridge Tap House in STL. Wow. What an interesting beer. Pours a slightly hazy amber. Aroma is slightly sour. Flavor is tart cherries and berries. Slightly sweet with some caramel also. Really fantastic beer. Very interesting! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
