Mikkeller ba smoke a ciggy. 250cl bottle thanks to Sean... Pours lighter than expected with a semi-muddled earthy brown pour and topped with a soapy off-white head... Aroma is smoky with herbal essence, tobacco and lots of whereabouts. Strengthy with tobacco accents. Nice smokey and complex with peat accents... Flavors are much if the same with smokey meat accents. Medium bodied with a nice beefy essence. Meaty beef jerky nature without being too heavy On the body while still offering some fullness 8/4/8/4/15

Entered to celebrate my rating numer 21,600. Bottled. An unclear red-brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of beech wood smoke, bacon, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel sauce, beech wood smoke, wood, brettanomyces, and roasted malt, leading to a dry, smokey, and brett’y finish, where the alcohol also makes its presence known by tickling the tongue.

bottle...medium muddy brown, only a touch of light tan head... Tons of smoke, lots of pork saltiness to it, oak on the finish, a bit of vanilla... The smoke dies on this, tons of chocolate, vanilla and oak, really smooth to drink

Bottle thanks to Scott! First beer of 2011! Poured a cloudy, earthy orangish brown with a near white head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma was quite smoke with a bit of honey, sweet grains and biscuits. Flavor starts with honey, sweet grains and a bit of peat, but became more smokey with quite a strong smokey finish.

(Bottle) Pours dark hazy brown with orange to red highlight. Small head. The aroma holds smoked meat, that’s it. Super fat nose with a fat backbone of sweet malt. Maybe some butter oak way in the background. The flavour is medium to heavily sweet and light bitter. Super smoky, lots of sweet caramelized malt and light oak. The mouthfeel is fat and syrupy with light to no carbonation. Lingering smoked meat finish. Near full-bodied.
