Bottle, 75cl corked. Almost black in the glass, at least very dark brown, and topped by a dense, finger-thick light beige head. Lovely aroma with lots of coffee and dark chocolate and resiny, citrus peel-ish hops and a wonderful brett touch. Not much oak impact. Lots of citrusy, resiny hops and hoppy bitterness in the flavor, with dark chocolate and lots of coffee. Cocoa notes, some vanilla and a faint funky touch. Lasting finish. Wonderful this one, love the blend of roasted malts, hops and brett. 141018

Flaske fra dags hyttetur. Svart uklar farge. Beige skumtopp. Moderat karbonert. Bra men ikke fantastisk. Smaker brent malt, kaffe lakris og ikke spesielt mer. Kjedeligere enn originalen

lusikka (6343) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 11, 2014
750 ml bottle. Pours a black colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of roastiness, dark bitter coffee and earthiness. Flavour of roasted malts, licorice, oatmeal porridge, coffee, spiciness and some chocolate. Medium bodied and high carbonation. Dry finish with loads of roastiness and coffee. Unfortunately carbonation is way too high here. Other than that very good.

75 cl bottle.
Pours black color with a huge beige head. Some smoky notes on the nose, dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee and some roasted malts. Dry chocolate flavor, cocoa powder, coffee, roasted malts and some molasses. Very high carbonation which disturbs a bit, otherwise very nice.

75 cl bottle @ lusikka
Loud POP when opening and lots of foam when pouring. Aroma is lovely with sweet chocolate, truffles, licorice and mocha coffee. Very foamy palate. Flavour has ashy tones, coffee, dark chocolate and herbs. Dry finish with herbal tones. Rather nice but palate tries to ruin the show. Too ashy, could have been much more greater with lower CO2 levels.

tiong (3819) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 11, 2014
750ml bottle

Pours pitch black with a massive foamy light brown head. Aroma of coffee, espresso, dark chocolate, roasty malts, hints of oak, wood and licorice. Taste is roasty, carbonated and chocolatey with loads of coffee, espresso and hints of wood. Finish is fizzy, smooth and roasty with notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Quite tasty and balanced coffee stout.
