Bottle. Exp date - 07.01.19. 7,5% abv. Aroma - medium to sweet chocolate and coffe aroma with nice hoppy background. Taste - Lot of coffe, feels like espresso. Quite bitter. Alcohol is well hidden. Medium to low carbonation. Overall not bat, but too bitter for oatmeal stout in my opinion.

Not bad, little funky but some nice carmel notes that came out right away. I don’t know if I would have it again, but it was an interesting experience.

(Cask) Pours black. The aroma is heavily roasted and a bit burned with tones of aromatic coffee, asphalt, green hops and green pepper. The flavour is heavily roasted and medium to heavily hop bitter with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, citrus, resin, ink, tar and asphalt. The mouthfeel is round and oily. Near full bodied.

Angenehm schokoladiger Geruch, ausgewogen, sehr leicht hopfig. 11/11/12/12//11

Amazing! Tastes like burnt coffee but in a good way. Darker than the dark side of the moon. Delicious. Guinness wishes it was this beer. Head is not important. The pouring is not important. The fact that it came from a tap is also not important. Try this, you wrong be disappoint.

Cask (or Draught?)@EBF 20008. Rating found on back of receiptsI found when packing up stuff from moving. Pretty much a pitch black colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, licorice, some roasted malts and also shows some slight notes of alcohol and nuts. Flavour is coffee, licorice, some roasted tones as well as some mild notes of bittenress.

Cask @ EBF 2008. Black body with a small beige head. Aroma is coffee and roasted malt, somehow a bit raw. Flavor is not raw at all, mild but distinct coffee, chocolate and roasted malt. Well balanced between sweet and bitter with a dominating coffee flavor, very nice.

Cask. Pitch black colour, hardly any head. Lovely aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Great creamy filling mouthfeel. The flavour has a very pleasant roasted maltiness with chocolate, coffee, mild bitterness and a little spice. Great brew indeed!
