On draught at Copenhague beer festival 2007. Poors a black coloured beer with an off beige small creamy head. Aromas of roasted malts and coffee. Taste is dominated by coffee and chocolate, notes of dried fruits, nice hoppyness but not overwhelming. Perfectly balanced.

Jun 29, 2008 Draught at copenhagen beer festival 2007. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. No carbonation. Very coffeeish aroma with some smoke and chocolate. Raosted malts as well. Flavour was roasted coffee beans and some smoke.

Nov 18, 2007 Black colour with a little white head. Very cask and with a very low carbonation. Nice aroma of smoke, liquorice and oily. Tasty flavour of smoke, coffee and roastedness very tasty but still light, ends up very lovely endeed.

Comments: Extremely coffee laden stout that manages to be balanced, dry and fair bodied at the same time, but that I can’t quite enjoy on the sole base of its coffee goodness. Good focus on a flavour that is not all that appealing to me.

Sep 8, 2007 Spicy and earthy aroma - cinnamon, coffee and chocolate. Quite black in colour, foamy brown head. Coffee flavorbase, herbs - nice balance to the coffee bitterness. Mellow mouthfeel. Coffee-roast aftertaste.
