The aroma of smoke/roated malts, dark chocolate and coffee. The taste is dry with coffee, some dark chocolate. It’s bitter in a gentle way, with notes of dark fruits. Pours jet black and thick with a big brown head that lasts. Aroma is lots of coffee, bitter chocolate, and roast. Flavor is roasted malt, heavy on the coffee, with chocolate and noticeable alcohol on the finish. Creamy palate with oatmeal and a full mouthfeel. An excellent stout.
