Apr 4, 2009 Bottle from Utobeer in Borough Market. Jet black stout with a nice beige head on top. Almost like a smoked beer, roasty with hints of coffee and chocolate. Clearly a well constructed beer from those chaps over the North sea in Denmark.

Apr 3, 2009 Bottle from Knightly Spirits. Part of a side by side wtih Brunch Weasel and Brunch One for One. This one was my favorite. Black pour with a tan head. Roasted malt, smoke and asphalt in the nose. Flavor is roasted malt, chocolate, fruit, molasses and a tiny bit of lactic tartness which worked great with this beer. DELICIOUS!!!!!!!

Mar 29, 2009 Very dark pour with nice thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malt. Tastes of more roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee with a heady hint of fresh hops. Nice bitter finish. Great creamy mouthfeel. Well done.

Mar 29, 2009 Bottle. Black body, with a large brown head. Aroma is lots of coffee, roasted malt. Flavor is coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt. It has a light bitter aftertaste.

Mar 28, 2009 (bottle) deep black with very generous brown head (watch the pour- I lost some over the rim). Aroma of slightly sweet roast malt, coffee. Full bodied with prominent roast malt, coffee, dark chocolate and sweet oatmeal flavors. Don’t really notice the hops, but the balance is good. Great stout. Would make a good base for a stout float.

Mar 27, 2009 Pours a deep brown black color with a pile of creamy tan head atop. Wonderful aroma of coffee, chocolate and a touch of smokiness. Flavors are rich and delicious. Lots of cocoa and coffee, with a nice oat smoothness. This is a really nice brew.
