Bottle (picked up at enoteca in post falls, id), poured into tulip. Deep dark brown, foamy tan head, good retention. Sediment? Aroma: coffee. Chocolate. Roasted malt. A little smoky Taste: Coffee forward, but not overpowering. Nicely balanced with some sweetness. Just the right amount of bitterness to pull it all together. palate: medium-full body. Moderate carbonation. Nice lingering finish that isn't overpowering. Overall: I don't get anything to really set this so far apart from other tasty coffee stouts to warrant me going to lengths to seek it out and spending this much for a bottle. It is remarkably well balanced, and finishes quite well, leaving behind the aftertaste of a perfectly brewed cup of french press coffee. Hmm, maybe I'm starting to get it as this review continues and I continue sipping. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

WYGLĄD: Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzyste. Piana drobna, średniej wysokości, oblepia szkło.
AROMAT: Intensywny. Bardzo bogaty aromat. Jest paloność, delikatna wędzoność, są owoce (rodzynki, wędzona śliwka), czekolada i kawa. Fajna zbożowość.
SMAK: Owoce, czekolada, słodowość i kawa. Na finiszu kawa. Znakomicie pijalne. Goryczka średnia - kawowa.
OGÓLNIE: Brak mi słów, żeby opisać to piwo. Po prostu trzeba je spróbować.

bottle at home as a present from Saeglopur, many thanks Thomas :) black color, looks rather oily, small dark coffee-colored head. strong smell of coffee roast, chocolate, some dark fruits. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation also light bubbly down the throat, light oily mouthfeel. medium strong roasty taste. tastes of chocolate, coffee, light sour-ish, some light hop bitterness, light citric and grass notes, light alcoholic but overall alcoholic nicely hidden. roasty bitter / chocolate / lightly hoppy finish. wow, very nice one, drinks rather easy.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Deep black with a short-lived soapy tan head. Aromas of coffee, dark cherries, roasted grains and vanilla. Silky smooth on the palate with bitter and tart flavors working well together. As it warms up more of the tartness shows. The oats really give it a creamy, velvety mouthfeel. Great long and lingering dry bitter finish.

Strong taste of oats and dark chocolate with a black coffee backbone. Smells of black coffee. Pours pitch black with a thick tan head. Had a bottle pour at home. Decent beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pitch black color. Big espresso notes, dark cherries, caramel and excellent roastiness. The mouth is flawless with the roasted malt smoothly blending in with the coffee notes. Very smooth. Long lingering finish moderate bitterness and espresso notes.

On tap at Solijca bar in Belgrade-Serbia. Pours oil bleach with a brownish little foam which lowers fast, leaves lacing and drafts. Nose: licorice, coffee, grass. In the bouts the hops bitter this stout making it very drinkable. Carbonation is medium, coffee is hidden. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black. Tan head. Bitterness from the coffee. Texture gets thickness in the oatmeal. Great balance. Gets better as it warms.
